Trade Rumours 2023

Unless we have other plans for the draft with pick 41 we just select him there after he nominates a price on his head. Doubt other clubs will pick him up.

Sick of us being reasonable at the table only for other clubs trying to take us for a ride.

How awkward

Seee yyyaaaaaaaaaa

(Going to be even weirder when they realise none will be forthcoming)

(Still sooking over Petty, obviously)

Well... he can’t easily walk to us in the PSD. Adelaide were expecting and happy to re-contract McAdam, and they have an earlier pick than us in the PSD. They could hold firm.

The Crows don’t have a second round pick and most picks in that round are allocated to the suns. I reckon he’d cruise to 41, especially if we are offering him decent money

Random question, clearly national draft picks can be traded, can you trade PSD picks?

I don't believe so

Delusional.

We all know this will get done late for the pick offered.

Yep.  We just need for the poker game to play out now.

Crows second only to dodoro/Essendon in the worst clubs to deal with stakes. Total [censored] holes

And Hawkins?

Melb put in a big offer for Hawkins, they reported that today on trade radio.

We simply must hold our ground and don't budge.  That offer was more than fair.

What a 'Petty' bunch of Chardy sipping nancies!

Right... but that’s not the PSD.

I suspect that we will end up sending a best 22 player to the WCE as

part of a play for pick 1.

That would leave us with pick 11 for Darcy Wilson

He can nominate for either draft

How annoying we are known to be reasonable and get deals done it’s a more than fair offer you would think if Adelaide want petty at some point in the next 2 years then they do the deal otherwise we might return serve

Yep... he can, that’s correct.

What player?

Freo's up there and Geelong are fast becoming a leader

Yeah, surely Shane McAdam is at most a 'nice to have' type and far from being essential. With 2024 the 'deep for Victorian midfielders' draft we'd be better off hanging onto the pick.

Just doing a quick mental check, McAdam would be competing for a spot with;

Neal-Bullen, Hunter, Spargo, Chandler, Sparrow, Pickett, Woewodin, Laurie and even the rookies Howes, Moniz-Wakefield and Sestan. Petracca counts, as will Melksham when he comes back in, and I'd even say Joel Smith though the type is a bit different.

Throw in the likelihood that one of the our early draft targets will be something like McKercher, Duursma, Watson, Wilson or even Tholstrup.

Assuming his knees aren't held together by sticky tape we should grab him for depth

Yup big fan of him, had a very good end to the year in the VFL.  Purely depth though

Wow. Surely, Adelaide are burning their reputation within the industry with this sort of nonsense.

They are taking over from Peter Bell and Freo as one of the worst teams to deal with.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
