Does Tracc ever stop smiling?

I couldn't stop smiling watching him yesterday.  He was AWESOME!

Someone ask Lever about his ankle if you can please and thanks!

When he got on stage there was no noticeable limp or discomfort.

Great way to spend sat morning with the kids. Stocked up on merch (polo shirt, guernsey for my daughter, baseball caps, beer stubby holders etc.), saw Benny (quality human being) get the hair shorn and heard from Daisy and Goody

My boy reckoned the best part of the day was the free ice cream! I made him promise to come to at least 3 games with me this year. Unprompted he said he would definitely come to the grand final with me. I'm taking that as a good omen.

Daisy spoke very eloquently as usual. Other highlight was Goody saying the team had unfinished business and wanted to win it at the G for us. You could tell he meant it rather than playing to the gallery. And he said Gawn and Grundy are known as the Tap Brothers!

Libby Birch reckoned there was 3,000 people there. I reckon that was about right.

Well done MFC. Very enjoyable day. The queues were too long but I don't think that could be helped. Just means the team are popular.

Go Dees

Humour works best when you don't faucet.

I think this was the best attended of all the family days I’ve been to: it was good fun and the vibe was more low-key. Ben Brown is a quality human: it’s an admirable thing to see somebody so comfortable in themselves.

The sausage and bread always reliable and those cupcakes were delicious.

Great job Demon Army.

I popped in for a little while. Seemed to be well organised, and a very pleasant atmosphere. No sign of Max, Angus, Trac, Viney and a few other A graders when I was there. Perhaps they turned up later?

I had short chats with Kozzy & Langers ... both really nice.

I asked Kozzy if he was signing on for next year. He said yes. I asked if I could record that ... he said no!!

I asked Langers about his rib injury from last year. Supposedly 'bruised'. He said that he had broken ribs ... x 4 !! Which is obviously why his form dropped off so much.

Max, Gus, Trac, Viney etc were all there at different autograph stations. The queues were long but what can you do? Meant it was hard to get to more than one table (unless you had people lining up in a few queues). My kids got Trac, TMac and Charlotte Wilson's sigs and they were pretty stoked with that. Wanted to get to Kozzy, Max & Viney too but didn't have time, it took us almost the whole hour lining up for Petracca and TMac.

Your 2nd question to Kozzie should have been "On which club's letterhead will you be signing on?".

Any pictures of Benny Browns head?

Poor excuse Langers.

It was a great turnout we had an enjoyable time and tried the Demon Army sausages and bread x5 very yummy. As mentioned earlier the queue’s were long which limited the number of player autographs but the kids managed to get all the young guns as they were all located in the one area along with JJ, Tommo and Michael Hibberd. How good is Benny Brown he raised $63,000 plus for the cause.! The last time we attended was 2019 it was a smaller event and players were much more accessible but that is the price of success.!!!

Wow, sounds like Family Day was fun!
I wouldn’t know since I didn’t see any of the happenings described in the above posts. Which is fantastic because it means that we were absolutely flat out for the entire time. We literally did not stop for a solid three-hour period. A couple of hours beforehand to set up and a couple of hours afterwards to clean/pack up. I didn’t get home until 4:30.

But totes worth it. More giant heads on the horizon! Speaking of, what happens to giant heads of players who leave us? I’m glad I asked! We raffle them. And look who got to come home with me!

No surprise since I reckon I bought 95% of the tickets. 😁

PS: to the ‘Landers who came by to say hello… I’m sorry if I appeared rude but as mentioned above we were under the pump the entire time and I simply couldn’t take a break. But thanks all the same for coming by.

So we’ve met but didn’t realise it, DZ. I was the one who took your money!

Glad you enjoyed the snags, as well as the day on the whole. ❤️💙

So what are the new guys like? Is hunter a friendly guy and is Grundy really friendly? He seems to be. I bet he got many well wishes

I miss the family days they used to have at Luna Park, but I’m delighted we can’t go back because we’re now a decent footy team and fans want to come along.

A picture of the catering staff (I'm being kind) was posted on the MFC Instagram page. Are you amongst them WCW?

No, they were the servers. And a great bunch of servers at that. 😊

There are career opportunities at The Manor for "servers".

Surely a snag in bread is too unrefined a dining choice for the likes of you (?)

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
