Richmond have the best Indigenous set up in the country. If they don’t think he’s worth the hassle any more than he probably isn’t.

Look at his VFL stats, he should’ve built fitness and got consistent games later in the year and he never did.

    I know someone that knows him very well. He is very much his own man, doesn't like being given orders and sounds very hard to coach.

    It's the only reason he's been delisted because he is good enough to be in just about any team in the comp. He just doesn't appear to want the scrutiny and intensity of the footy world. 

    Could be a damn good player if he wants it bad enough.

    What about our work with the Santa Teresa project that's been now successfully ongoing for 5 years  through the work of our Aboriginal Liaison Officer Matthew Whelan who's done a power of work with not only our indigenous players but reconnecting past culture to our present day players.

    Or what about our Reconciliation Plan where our reconciliation is to unite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with non-Indigenous people through the great game of AFL, to truly embrace history, culture and community.

    Taking a chance on Stack? No different how's we've taken a chance on the likes of Harley Bennell a d Liam Jurrah when no one else wanted to take the risk.

    I think our football club celebrates our indigenous heritage far better then any club in the league and this is pretty evident.

    But that's just me personally.

    We also punched the Narrm idea from the Storm and then upgraded it.

    Multiple clubs wanted Jurrah, we just had first crack in the draft. I wouldn’t exactly hold him or Harley Bennell up as success stories though.

    Stack’s example at the Tiges is not a great example for their program either. 
     

    I believe our program is very good too! Run by good ppl and our good club. Cultural and social programs are not a guarantee for 100% success.

    I wouldn't hold Stack as a success story either.

    But weirdly enough you do? Yet he's been delisted for pretty much poor professionalism and worth ethic.

    An old and long time friend of mine was a very good coach of indigenous players in the Northern Territory for well over a decade, I always wondered why a Victorian club didn't pick him up as an assistant.

    I don't think there's any harm in the MFC coaching staff and Max Gawn meeting up with Sydney Stack for a coffee and at least seeing if it is worth giving him a final chance or not?

    I would be concerned with his affect on Kozzie, negative or positive. If it’s the latter you would consider.

    Dimma said he had too many players that were unstructured. He obviously meant uncoachable.

    We could really prove ourselves by taking NT and Essendon NGA talent Anthony Munkara at pick 37 (if available).

    There’s talk around that the Bombers have been trying to hide him from view so that nobody takes him inside pick 40.

      For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

    • CASEY: UWS Giants

      The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

      A undermanned Dees showed some heart and desperation to put the Fremantle Dockers to the sword as they claimed their first victory for the season winning by 10 points at the MCG.
