Wow, I errrr….wow. Not sure how I feel about this, I mean he was starting to kill it for the dogs before he got injured but…is he the answer to our forward problems?

Errrrr No thanks!

Tomlinson for Bruce - he's actually listed at 197cm which surprised me. 30y3m old.

I've always grossly disliked him.

Managed 1 season where he gave up the booze and looked half decent and he managed to unfortunately end that year with a ruptured ACL.

But if it comes down to Bruce or Tomlinson then I have more faith in our key defenders than I do our key forwards.

Fills a need at Casey with Mitch Brown retiring.

Doesn’t come across as a very committed athlete  to me, but as a swap for Thommo maybe.

A Tomlinson/Bruce swap makes sense for both clubs as they each play in an area where the recipient is deficient.

Both players had a strong 2021 before bad injuries and neither could recapture that form in 2022.

We'd be club number 4 for Bruce

If he came cheap we could do worse I guess, but he needs a haircut.

Should be better the 2nd year after coming off a knee ... makes sense if there isn't anyone else on the market and its a straight swap ... would be ahead of weid for a start and atleast shown he can elevate his level. Weid can go to saints after

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
