I’m about to head over to the Pineapple as well! I’m staying down the road at Bates Motel. 😳 I wish I was kidding. This place is a little creepy now in daylight. I imagine it’ll be scary af in the dark tonight. Good times.

never mind, when we win tonight you can spend all night celebrating in the safety of the pub

Hey, where are you(s) all (lol) watching the match?

I previously posted that I was watching the match at the Sporting Globe in Richmond to which I received zero response ... 😭

I was thinking of going to the sporting globe in Geelong, if that helps

Anyone else?

I do believe we are more than capable of stitching Brisbane a brand new one.   We are more than good enough. We should win easily. And last year changed my outlook, we can be a great side,  but almost 50 years of MFCSS is very much ingrained.

This is the start of the Finals,  just gunna sit next to the box and watch    Good Luck Dees   not really needed  Make your own Luck.

If the proprietors name is Norman I'd be getting out of there

Game has tightened up with the bookies. Fritta is due for a bag and Kossie to star tonight.

This is one of the predictions I would make up.

But I do believe that about Frittata and Kozzie... well he is just getting better and better every day.

I'm calling out Trac and Max to have a big influence as well.

Charlie Cameron COULD win it with just 4 kicks if the ball hits the deck which it seems to be doing more often recently.

I don't know about Kossie but Fritsch needs to kick 3+ or we're stuffed

.

I went to the Bentleigh club once about 7 years ago to watch a game and was told to be quiet by some old duck when yelling out go Max.

It was all too quiet and lacked any atmosphere.

Not fussed we sold it and just at the peak of the market.

Good job.

Let's hit our peak form tonight and keep winning all the way until we our celebrating back to back flags in person at the G this year.

Now that's an idea! I have a full bottle of Finlandia - is it any good? Might be a pleasant change from the old Bundy and Coke. The nerves certainly think it is warranted. Advice, please....

Its not bad, and isnt one of Vladimirs

Either of our players you mentioned could do likewise. Maybe milkshake will do it again.

But I think it will bbb who leads the goal scoring bw both clubs.

I’ve known it since it was Spargo’s. Just around the corner from where I used to live. Enjoy the game.

I hope you live near Geelong...otherwise it would be cheaper to get a months kayo as opposed to driving that far with petrol prices as they are.

I have Kayo and in Wollongong it's on free to air.

I'll watch it hopefully not curled up in the foetal possie.

I was wondering when I listened to a game on the radio last.

We are so spoiled for choice compared to 40 years ago...the only tv telecast was match of the round.....usually cwood.

But if I dint go to the G as a teenager....listening on the radio seemed fun and while one often had no idea what was really going on at times ...wherevthe ball was etc.....it was still enjoyable.

Weird that every game was played on a sat for the most part.

Imagine that now. How much more work I would actually do.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success.
