I think your post is the most embarrassing

As I said ages ago...if you're going to put very little pressure on the opp coming out of your 50 your going to get beaten by most teams.  By a team in the top 4....smashed.

Exposes the gulf between our bottom 6 and theirs in terms of skills. And they are missing Tuohy, Stewart and Higgins.

think some supporters need to cool their jets here. We ain’t winning 7 in a row to win the flag. A tune up here and beat Port at home isn’t too bad. We haven’t lost twice in a row all year and there’s no way we’re losing 3 in a row.

This is a slaughter. Grow up!

They played ten minutes of good footy and got lucky with a few. Happens to ever team and better happening tonight then in the next two weeks. Plus its only half time and we can get back in it.

As bad as 2018 preliminary final. Huge stage. Big pressure.  Soft as butter.  Really.  Have to lift and get some run from someone!!!!

You couldn't find a more bigger front runner then Bayley Fritsch.  Happy to beat up on the lower place teams but goes to water against top quality sides. Absolute front runner. Just the 3 disposals.

McDonald is absolutely pox. Back to his 2020 form and moving like a crab.

Brayshaw is absolutely hopeless footballer in general.

One of our best vs the cats last time we played them.

This is what happens time and time again. We put all our expectations on the Melbourne football club. They let us down. We will start all over again and again. They will let us down again and again.

Yep and so it continues like a reacurrent bad dream

I’m confident we will step up in the second half. We have stepped up all season when questions have been so I’m confident we will again. Result doesn’t matter at this stage but we need some sort of form to head into next week with. We can’t be as bad second half. Cmon dees

Getting nothing from the umps. Having said that, this game was lost at selection. Smith and Sparrow should have been dropped, not Hibbo and Jordon. And TMac is clearly not ready, so Milkshake should have retained his spot.

Anyway, no worries, there won’t be any finals played at Kardinia Park. Let’s beat the Cats at Optus Stadium in the GF!

Good test now for Goody to pull some moves...Scott has given him a masterclass...fortunately it is before the finals... so we can hopefully learn and adjust

Rubbish. Haven’t seen this all year in a second quarter. An absolutely disgraceful performance.

Yet we somehow lead in. inside 50s 30 - 27 ..... but no structure.

Their defence is making us look hopeless, or just impotent. Probably both. Who needs Tom Stewart?  Geelong’s flag to lose, of that their is absolutely no doubt. Red and blue glasses off, the Cats are just sensational, and have timed their tilt perfectly. I so wish it were otherwise.

I know which is more embarrassing. I’ll give you a clue… it’s NOT the first half performance.

T Mac has been beyond insipid tonight. We can’t in all seriousness take him into next week. Bring back Melk. Bring back anyone.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
