Fritta! Trac still BOG for me, got us going.

Should have said 8 goals between Fritta and Brown, instead of 4 each.

Well done Joel Smith. Played your role well

Credit to the Crows they came to play but we got the win, kicked accurately for a change, no injuries and playing for the minor premiership next weekend

Great time to be a Dees supporter

Back on top! Well done boys.

How good will it be to see No 31 kicking goals in Finals

Dare we dream.

I'll take a 7 goal win anytime. The game was by no means pretty but I'm pleased that we controlled the game in the last quarter and didn't allow Adelaide to get back in it.

The standouts were Langdon and Fritsch. They both had their best games for weeks. I also felt really confident when the ball went in Lever's direction. He's one of the best intercept markers in the competition.

Anyone else think gawny looked really annoyed that whole last qtr? Even on the bench he was annoyed about something

wonder if something happened

TOP OF THE LADDER, BABY!

Field day for Fritter. Great to see better conversion from our forwards. It's a funny reversal of the last game we played against these guys. It's hilarious that our accuracy kept us in this one at the start.

We're coming for the minor premiership!

“Let’s drop Fritsch” from the game day thread. NFI.

Would have called for a straighjacket if you'd suggested at quarter time that Fritsch would snag 7.

The biggest upside today was Langdon, spargo and Fritta all back to their best.

Great work from Trac, Petty and Jackson.

Forge the the game I still can't get over Fritsch! When was the last time we had someone kick 7?

Hardly touched it in the first quarter, that was up there in Farmer 2000 vs Collingwood territory!

That was a good win without Viney, May and Tmac.

We’ve definitely played better and some of our method was questionable at times but gee whiz we’d would’ve struggled without Fritsch.

Loved that. Wasn’t pretty, but ticked all the boxes IMO. Kicked goals against the run of play in the first, weathered the challenge in the third and buried them when they put up the white flag in the last. Very content with that performance. Did what we had to.

Bring on the minor premiership battle next week.

Dropped marks. That’s what makes him elite, and we build the game around him down the line. He dropped 5-6 from memory and was very dirty on himself.

That game felt exactly like a game where the result didn't matter. We didn't get out of second gear it felt like.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
