Salem was a rock & AVB was a terrific game for someone who hadn't played for a very long time and had very little VFL football. He had a big hand in 3 goal scoring chains and came back from a huge bump. Way too complimentary on Gawn who had his worst game in his last 50 odd. The game should've been over at half time no questions asked, but we slackened off for 10 mins and lost the game. That's on our players. Picture this, 3/4 time, our premiership hopes are on the line in terms of a top 4 finish. We recognise that we need to start winning more contests. So what happens at the first centre bounce in the last quarter? A straight forward centre clearance and kick to Lewis who strolls in to take the mark and goals. Enough said.
