One of the best team efforts I have seen for 30 years. We had stars, but there were a lot of blokes who played for the jumper not the stats.

6 - Oliver
5 - Harmes
4 - Brayshaw

3 - Lever
2 - Rivers
1 - Spargo

The AFL report didn’t even mention Harmes in the best for Melbourne. Did they even watch the game?

Have a look at the Coaches votes on Monday. Clarry will be top like he is with most supporters. He had eight score involvements to half time!

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
