Very interesting. Spargs had to be loving life. It kind of reminds you how very few games we’ve won in the past decade. Even Trac and Brayshaw aren’t on positive terms.

Jordon at 100% and Jones at 32%; timing is everything.....

Good to see the younger blokes experiencing the winning feeling regularly. Great for confidence and belief

So basically scrap all players from Tracc down and we'll go undefeated for the entire season.

How does this compare to Cam Pedersen's percentage? I feel like we won every game he played for us there for a while.

The winningest player with more than 50 games?

Jake.

Melksham.

Some of you just grated your teeth so loudly.

Just stop it, it’s an awful sound.

Players like Trevor Castles, Ross Fisher and Robin Andrew are in the pantheon that have cast in concrete 100% winning records for MFC. They are truly the unimpeachable undefeated.

Looks like James Jordan is the new Clyde Laidlaw!

(Fingers crossed because that's an 81% win rate and four premierships in 124 games)

It would appear that he is the new Jack Trengrove.  :D

Can't think of a player who very obviously had NOPE stamped on his name in big letters by a coach.

Third in the B&F in 2013, in and out of the side in 2014 under Roos. Signed on for two years at the end of 2014, played two full seasons in the VFL when just about every other player on the senior list got picked at some point. Almost seemed like a stubborn standoff between coach and player in the end. Pretty funny in hindsight - probably not for Dean though.

It is interesting that Viney's winning percentage is almost as low as Jones'.

It makes sense after a moment - Viney missed that couple of nearly competitive years under Bailey where we got the 8-9 wins a season, but was on deck from 2013 so got to participate in some of our worst.

Also missed a bunch of wins in 2018 through injury.

This is as good a moment as any to note how much he has been exemplifying the team-first approach this year.  Not having flashy games but playing an accouable role that releases Oliver and Petracca to do more. He's the Tomlinson of our midfield! ?

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
