So excited I can’t sleep.

Cannot wait to sit down in the MCC with my Dad and two brothers for the first time since 2019.

Just quietly, really looking forward to a few frothies while seated in the stands too.

Let’s go Dees!

Enjoy your day. Am in Sect 4 in outer In Great Southern Stand.

Getting 7.40 am flight from Brisbane to o by here on this iconic day which figuratively means so much for  us.

We must make a statement with a performance like vs Tigers in practice game. That would be good enough to win by 3/4 goals today I imagine.

I’ll hardly get any sleep either - but for different reasons. Match starts at 3:45 a.m. for me.

Wonder what sort of crowd we'll get. I'm predicting 25k.

Safe travels 58.

You trip will be worth because I believe we'll win. It may not be pretty with our depleted forward line but we'll have enough to see off Freo.

Similar Ben.

It’s been way too long.

A few beers pre-game, saunter down to the G in time for ball-up and hopefully a Dees win.

Life is good.

Make sure to set 2 alarm clocks in case the first one doesn't go off!

Pert reckons about 27k. A disappointing turnout in my view given the year we've just had. Where are all the Dees supporters?

A lot would be thinking why go just to get another knee in the groin. But I do think on such a beautiful day 30k is more like it

It's no wonder the club was sending emails. Pert predicting 27k is disappointing.

Happy game day everyone.

Go dees!

"The boys are angry about last year"

We'll see.

Like others, I’m a bit nervous. I’m still concerned about our lack of run, spread and class, as I have been for years now. We should still be good enough, but it will need to be a performance more like the Richmond game than the Doggies game.

Sadly I couldn’t get down from NSW fr this week.  Im def on edge today. This season could be anything , a genuine crack at the top 4-6 or a collapse and a coach sacking. Today will tell us a lot.... im in the former camp. Let’s go dees!

was sure be predicted 40k the other week?

You know my favorite thing about round one? The montage, nothing better than a good footy montage. I wish I had montage guy's voice I'd voice over my whole life.

Cant wait to be back at the G today. Go Dees ❤️?

I’m really sorry guys, I drank out of my Pink Floyd mug rather than Demons mug this morning. I’ve let Simon Goodwin know that I have made learnings and worked really hard on developing my brand. Hopefully will put out a 4 quarter effort next week.

What’s on the menu???

Family footy time is back, looking forward to walking into the G with the kids again.

All summer we’ve heard how the boys can’t wait to play in front of us again, we’ll do our part by turning up, giving them a loud cheer when they run out and hopefully they return the favour with a win.

Enjoy the day all, Go Dees!

Livid I can’t get there today as I’m stuck working hotel quarantine.

Hope those that make it along to the game enjoy a great day. Praying for a solid win first up. Go Dees.

Have some mixed feelings. I’m really looking forward to the footy but, in order to get there, I’ve had to disclose to the maid that lockdown is over. Arrh well.. all good things!

It’s always good to watch a kid debut and at the other end of the scale, I hope Jones has a decent game.

My highlight will be Fritsch kicking 5 big ones!

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
