If that’s true, then they need a key back badly. Actually they needed another this year. Tom and Oscar could be useful to them and Tom also at the Bombers as Hurley might leave and is nearly done. The Giants also need A key back and even the Crows with Hartigan leaving. In summary their should be a few clubs interested in Tom.

If you’re asking questions and want serious answers, might I suggest that you don’t ask on a strictly rumour thread.

It’s fairly good mail @Unleash Hell.  Haven’t heard heard about Brodie Smith.  Brisbane have said that anyone outside of their finals 22 is up for grabs.
Phillips from the Pies is on a good pay packet, so this one will be interesting.  T Mac not getting a lot of love due to his wage which I think is fairly common knowledge.

Our friend Ricky Nixon has become prolific with his prognostications. He’s issued another list and there’s a lot to digest -

• Jaidyn Stephenson.  With news coming in the last few days that he would be gettable at the trade table, North Melbourne and Hawthorn have both registered interest. Watch this space after his management was at North Melbourne’s club yesterday

• Bulldogs set to make nice little run home for Adam Treloar they shown huge interest to him the last 48hrs as well as well as Mason Cox

• Max Lynch the young ruckman from Collingwood linked to Richmond and Sydney.

• Rival Victorian clubs have been linked to Sam Menegola from Geelong they are Melbourne Hawthorn North Melbourne

• Nick Hind from St Kilda is having meeting with Essendon tonight at Tullamarine.

• Ben Brown set to nominate Melbourne talks he’s toured the club twice he’s very happy at Melbourne talk is between three-four years will get that deal done.

• Adelaide are confident GWS will trade Jackson Hately to the club rather than sending him to the pre-season draft.

• North Melbourne are having meeting with the Candidates for top coaches job this week talks they hope to announce new coach by within two weeks.

• Josh Dunkley looking like he will nominate a trade to Essendon talk is $700-750K year over 5 years deal.

• Seb Ross – Was reportedly spotted touring Essendon’s facilities despite having a year to run on his contract talks going around St Kilda looks set to offload him to make room in the cap for Crouch. That’s huge for Essendon if Seb Ross does decide to nominate them.

• Connor Blakely despite Fremantle putting him up on the trade table looks like he will stay at Fremantle.

• Kyle Hartigan from Adelaide talks he will sign with Hawthorn this after he nominated trade to Hawthorn talks three year deal for him.

• Daniel Talia from Adelaide talks going around Essendon has put a three year deal on the table to him to get him back to Victoria talks Adelaide saying he will not be put up the trade table despite having year to run on his contract.

• Matthew Scharenberg from Collingwood linked to Adelaide.

• Orazio Fantasia – Has officially requested a trade to Port Adelaide that deal will get done this week talk four years been put on the table to him.

• Jordan Clark from Geelong has been linked to a move back home to WA talks Fremantle showing huge interest in him.

• Will Brodie from Gold Coast still strongly on Essendon’s radar talks Essendon will make late play for him.

• Wil Powell Is being chased by North Melbourne, in addition to other Victorian clubs – but there’s no word on whether Gold Coast are willing to entertain a move. Contracted until 2021.

• Tim Taranto after being strongly linked by St Kilda talks he will stay GWS.

• Cyril Rioli – Rumours continue to abound that the mercurial small forward can be coaxed out of retirement to Gold Coast after he was spotted catching up with GCS Coach just recently although I’m lead to believe it’s to do with and assistant coaching role not playing so calm down just calm down everyone

• Mitch Hannan – Has requested a trade to the Western Bulldogs from Melbourne that deal will get done in the next couple days.

• Tom McDonald officially heating up on him in talks after he had meeting with Essendon officials talks North Melbourne officials was spotted having a meeting with him yesterday watch this space around him on who he chooses.

• Shaun Higgins looks almost certain to join Geelong talks that deal will be done mid week.

I know Ricky is a [censored] of the highest order but god i hope we are throwing the kitchen sink at Menegola.

I rekon BB is a done deal

TMac is interesting, i am still amazed anyone would trade for him with what he is contracted for.... but stranger things have happened.

Most of it is fluff as Ricky is a born salesman, but that Menegola rumour has me very excited.

So 3½ years then? ?

Yes it’s 3 years with performance based trigger to get 4th year. That’s about right.  I was very nervous about a 5 year deal.

Need to reserve 5 year deals for gun mids like JV, Clarry and Trac.

End 2021 - Clarry gets 5 year deal, Salem gets 4 year deal, Maxy gets 3 year deal.

For those interested I am hearing that we’d be very keen to have a chat to Adam treloar. If the pies are willing to pay a decent chunk of his salary we’d see him as a fit on the opposite wing to Langdon.

It has been reported that Buckley told Treloar that senior Filth players wanted him gone, so it seems like he will go somewhere. Hard to see how the Pies get someone to pay his contract and get good picks given they have severed the relationship.

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin
