Can someone please tell Bruce to shut up!! He doesn’t have to repeat everything twice or keep asking rhetorical questions.

doesn't he??!?

cracking first half of footy

Watching last night and tonight... we’re a mile off competing.

I’ve loved watching both teams at stoppages, the amount of blocking they do to support/release their teammate is fantastic.

Just shows how easy we could make it for ourselves with Max and our Mids with some quality coaching.

Great 1st half. Would not write off Richmond yet. Maturity of the lions will be on show in this half. These 2 make port and geelong look ordinary.

Collingwood won't go out in straight sets.  They'll only play (lose) one match.

Agreed!

On the subject of Bruce - what the [censored] is a "hat trick" doing in the lexicon of our game?

@Rab D Nesbitt?

@Skuit?

@Wobbly Bob?

Gents, doyens, pedants,  is it appropriate language?

Gee, big Oscar McInerney is playing some sort of a game. Another Casey player...

A dusty martin turnover! That never happens in finals time.

Yeah, I know, but you know what I mean.

Well done Lions. Have applied enough pressure to allow the game to be decided on talent...and they have plenty.

Tigers have won a lot of games by pressuring more than their opponents...the Lions wore it and look the better team on pure talent.

Will take a huge effort from Richmond to win from here.
they can’t take a mark up forward tonight.

No Lynch

Gee Brisbane missed 2 easy shots in the final minutes. Hope they hold on.

But it is good seeing the lions fans back at the gabba making lots of noise.

Lions just left the door ajar at the end of that Q, should have put at least one of those opportunities away.

Hope it down't come back to bite them on the a...

Don't ask me EO. As soon as I discovered Brayshaw was commentating I turned the sound off on the macpro I'm intermittently watching it on. If somebody has scored one though they usually get to keep the match ball once the game has finished. Don't know if that'll catch on in the AFL however. Maybe CH7 could get BT or some other donut to present it in the rooms after a game.

Lions seriously at risk of throwing this away with 4 behinds in a row.

How depressing to think us and Brisbane were both bottom feeders not long ago... look at them and look at us. Good coaching is just so important.

10.9.69 to 8.6.54

Horribly irrelevant fact but that was the exact score that we beat Hawthorn in June 1989 out at Princes Park. Massive win by the boys at the time.
