GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood

Featured Replies

This is possiblely one of the biggest quarters of the year. Not only can we increase our own percentage, but smash Collingwood's percentage.

We need to finish the job. Come on, Melbourne.

Collingwood has the draw so theirs isn't so important.

Our is.

But tbh the win is far more important.

They're 2 down on the bench' come on

Cripes.  Gawn, Jackson *and* Preuss injured???  How's Bradke going?

Pruess with hamstring issues .... Great.

As far as I've seen it the game is over. Collingwood need to kick 6 goals, in the wet, against a breeze, 2 players down, and off a four day break. I want us to step it back up and increase the margin. You never know the value of percentage.

Preus Back on

Fritta ya useless spud, that was terr...... oh hang on he kicked it.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

preuss took (and won) the first hitout of this quarter

Better kick this Fritsh

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
