No they won't they will bring in Preuss that's the reason he is on the list. If Viney is injured\rested play the young kid Jordon. Brayshaw will definitely get more midfield time. I think they will stick with Harmes down back.

Yes I agree that Preuss should come in. He’s the backup Ruck.  I just think goody will use tommy mcd. It’s because goody never seems to go the logical route sometimes.

Cannot agree on Hannah he is our Kent replacement. Way to inconsistent.
Both are good VFL players but just not good enough at senior level.

I agree OD.  ANB, Fritta, Hannan & Melk all in a similar boat i reckon.  Fritta tends to do better playing off a wing at times.

We lack a dangerous HF both in the air and ground level which is why i'd be getting Harmes to play more time forward and pushing Viney up there more often as well.  As we saw last week that paid off a little with a couple of goals.

The issue though, who else do you bring in?

I can't imagine that Preuss is match fit.

If he is uninjured and has been for a few weeks, then he could be as fit as any player not currently in the side.

He fits the bill RN but every second week you get very little. The trick would  be to know when it is going be the other week and only play him then.

I am amazed some of the names being thrown up to replace when Goody is on record as saying we only took 29 players to Adelaide for the week. That makes the only potential ins as emergencies from last game which I am pretty sure were The Macs, Rivers and Spargo, Kozzie is also definitely there, so that means only two others, one of which I suggest is Hannan. If Gawn is not playing then I doubt but hope we took Preuss  and if not I suggest TMac will play and LJ will ruck. If Viney as rumoured is also not playing I suggest Rivers will play back and Harmes into the rotation but with Angus getting more midfield time.  Would love to know who the other option we took was though.

Is it possible that we might fly other players to SA on the same flight as North (to abide the AFL covid protocols)...just a thought...

OD that probably applies to about one half of our team.  Imagine the ins & outs every week

As long as he plays mostly ruck Mr Leg.

Actually a week's rest for Big Maxy in prep for the following week against his arch enemy Grundy, may not be the worst thing that could happen.  A little protection also against the big body of Goldstein crashing in this week couldn't hurt.

Might also give the opp a bit of a headache as they won't have alot of data / intel as to where Pruess tends to place the ball with our mids with his tap work.

Viney and Gawn out. Two massive outs.

Is Pruess in the hub?  Surely Harmes has to go into the middle and push forward as per his past role now.  Rivers comes in to replace Harmes' role.

I agree.  If he was sore, then had to be rested versus the bottom placed Crows who had a lower ranked ruckman in O’Brien.  It’s a hmmmm moment.

Having watched Tmac's manoeuvrability last time he played Preuss would have to be catastrophically unfit for that to rule him out.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
