Is there a difference between New Idea and the Herald Sun?

Yes. New idea is a more reliable source of news.

This has a very nice ring to it - toss in Brayshaw as a receiver and we may well be away into a big and successful season.

I thought it was going to be that he now wishes to be known as Christine Petracca and will play for the AFLW team today.

My first thought too :)

Interesting take for the author to say Petracca has transformed himself so he can earn himself a large contract next year.  I'd prefer the author said that he has done this in an attempt to get the best out of himself and get the Dees back up the ladder.

He was ripped this time last year. So what’s the transformation?

i reckon he’ll be better this year but incrementally as he has done over the last 5 years.

team performance hid how good Trac was last year. If we perform well, he should dominate and be in our top 5 players easily

So true.

He is coming out of contract. Of course he is going to be fitter and play better. We have only been waiting years for it.

has his goal kicking transformed. he'll never get better unless he improves this side of his game.

He is training the house down.

Won't be such an issue id he plays tbw majority of his time as a mid.

Don't the best mids also kick goals?

Not convinced his physical condition has been his greatest impediment... I hope he is focusing as much on keeping his mind ‘switched on’ as he is on dropping a few kilos

The most dangerous ones do.

That is exactly what I thought Fork em.

I’m backing Petracca to have his best year with us, a lot of media pundits like to mention the fact that he’s in his final year of his contract so this is the time to shine. But how about the simple fact that he is getting into his peak years and as an age group our club is getting into their peak years.

Now is the best time for him to shine because it has the potential to bring others up along with him.

I hope you are right!

He could be absolute dynamite if he gets his mind right, to really go for it

If you want a shock transformation look up what Hibberd looks like now compared to last year. Looks about 20kgs lighter.

I hope he transforms his ball drop when kicking.

Has the highest ball drop in the AFL.  Drops it from head height
