TMac would probably get us a 2nd rounder, definitely not a first. I wouldn't think Wright would be worth any more. Quote

Either he's rubbish, so why would we bother, or he's worth a player that has spent most of his time in the ressies who can't crack a game at the worst club in the AFL. GC cant have it both ways, likewise with how they're positioning themselves on Jack Martin. Dropped him numerous times this and last year, yet asking the world for him. Quote

Adam The God 30,747 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 GWS would trade a similar player to Wright for a third or second rounder. Just look at Scully and Patton. 2 Quote
R.I.P. Troy 185 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 In reality, based on his current form and his place in the GC Suns pecking order, Peter Wright would be worth a 3rd rounder. A 2nd rounder would be fair. GC would ask for a 1st rounder. Quote

Best part of trade week are these inside info posts, love em, cheers for the info! In your opinion, do you think it would be difficult to appease the other party in a trade for this player with our current assets? Or am I pushing my luck with this question haha Quote
olisik 4,060 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 What is this thread all about? We need more inside mids, not a key forward. Can’t have enough of those. 1 Quote

Or am I pushing my luck with this question haha I would only be guessing, but I would dare say they would want some draft picks to help them out, so we could do that, but only my opinion. I hope we are still trying, haven’t heard or asked anything further (sorry, but haven’t had the chance), but we do need someone to help up forward. Hoping and expecting our forward line to get back to 2018 form, fingers crossed, if we can get a few on the park and work on our delivery. I don’t care who we had forward this year, nobody would score with our movement and delivery from this season. I still think TMac will/can kick 50 goals next season, as a clean bill of health and some confidence will get him back to the form he had, and as a starting point up forward, that isn’t bad. A fit melksham can kick over 30, as can Trac (if he works on his kicking) and Fritsch. I hope I am not being too biased and wishful, but we can’t go from being such a high scoring side in 2018, with the same forward line minus hogan, to being so woeful without the possibility of working on it and getting the form back. 1 Quote
BW511 2,730 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 If everyone gets back to their 2018 form, we are still 2 goals a game down (Hogan) We had a lot of games decided by less than 2 goals 1 Quote

Jaded No More 68,976 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Could have gotten Patton for a future 4th rounder. Honestly how the feck does Hawthorn do that?! Daylight robbery every single year. 1 Quote
