  1. In my opinion there are plenty of reasons why it may not be appropriate to publically announce a preferred option yet. They publically announced a preferred option of Jolimont a little while ago and going public in hindsight was a bad move. Fingers crossed we hear something soon 🤞
  2. I disagree with the opinion that because the public doesn't know the preferred site yet, we must not have one.
  3. Is the reason you don't think we have a site because they haven't yet told you what the site is?
  4. My guess is he is unlikely to be drafted, training with Dees to potentially play at Casey and the media have just completely missed that he's eligible this year.
  5. Even if not highly rated, he's playing WAFL Colts and has enrolled in the draft. Given who his dad is and that he's f/s eligible at 2 clubs I find it very strange the media haven't mentioned him at all. Any article would get a plenty of clicks
  6. Nah I think the media have always reported it as 2021 also, just did some googling of articles
  7. Might be way off, but something seems a little secretive here. I think the club took down a photo on its socials and it's pre-season training article from the website that had him in it, could have sworn it was him. Now it appears he's nominated for the draft and no media has picked it up either...
  8. So his draft year is this year I take it? Always thought it was next year? The date of birth listed says he's 18 so makes sense if it's this year...
  9. I'd be leaving as many rookie spots open as possible if I was Dees. In my opinion there is going to be a heap of players undrafted who if they played in 2020, would have easily been drafted. Could be a real one off opportunity. Has anybody looked into comparing historical mock draft's at the start of a season to what the actual draft at the end of the year looks like? Would be fascinating to see in the context to this upcoming draft
  10. The Rumour Only thread now needs links in the opening post to rumours, much like the training report threads need links to training reports. All because 90% of the chat is people getting their kicks out of keyboard arguments. Spare me!
  11. I think the biggest thing will be him getting his body right. If he does, there is no reason he can't be our best forward. If he doesn't, I struggle to see him down back or up forward.
  12. Essentially we upgraded 26 to 25, 31 to 28, and then got BB & future 4th for 33 & 43. That's well played 👏👏
  13. Latest Age article (headline about Stephenson) mentions Dees have not yet offered North any of our 2nd round picks.
  14. All very good points 👍 The North one has me thinking, is the recent talk of 2 2nd rounders for BB due to us including TMac in the trade? Effectively giving them a 2nd rounder for a salary dump? Happens in US sport all the time, and I think it's only a matter of time until it happens here
  15. Have no info, just speculating. But if GWS was an option, nothing could get done until Cameron gets sorted, as they will need the cap space for Cameron if they were to keep him (even though that's just part of their negotiations). With Sydney, I'd imagine that would only be possible if Aliir moved to Port, from a cap space and key position player need perspective. There were rumours I think early on that TMac had medicals already with these clubs, so you would think these trades could still happen late. Therefore if you are in the camp of wanting to move TMac, I think you should be hoping
  16. Bulldogs would be silly to replace Dunkley with Treloar, given Treloar's age, injury history and massive contract. They also have no use for high draft picks this year with their Academy kid. Dunkley contracted for 2 more years, 24yo next year, he's going to be just as valuable if not more next year, it's a no brainer to hold him
  17. The AVB rumours make sense with Mahoney mentioning Baker, Hunt, Tomlinson & Harmes but not AVB for the wing role
  18. Gawn and Jackson were both injured at the same time for much of this year. Using the guys you mentioned means we would be short in those areas. It's really not the worst idea to have this type of backup
  19. I think this makes sense. The idea is this role is unlikely to play, but is there as a back up in case of injury. Therefore the role needs to be cheap from both a dollar and trade sense. Not many players around that fit this criteria I feel...
  20. I think the fact that Mahoney didn't mention AVB but did mention Baker, Hunt, Tomlinson and Harmes for the wing position, suggests they are looking to move AVB. There might be legs to the rumour he may be packaged with Preuss to GWS
  21. A late start to AFL level will have no influence on his body or the likelyhood of him losing speed / getting injured
  22. Just want to mention that the 'less miles on the legs because he didn't play AFL level until 21' is completely irrelevant to how likely it is that he picks up soft tissue injuries or loses speed now that he is 31.
  23. Feel a bit sorry for Jack Viney with his newborn
