Given he wasn’t available for selection until 2020 and Collingwood only re-drafted him last year knowing this, why would they delist him?

Edited by Ethan Tremblay

Yes! Fills a definite need. It's a no brainer. Collingwood are well served for small backs with Quaynor, Murphy and Noble. He must've been superfluous to needs.

Unless there is more at play here???

He is from up this way in Albury/Wodonga and I know some of his knockabout mates..

All I will say is stay absolutely clear from this muppet.

Quick, running defender, this guy can play. We need pace. take him, no brainer.

You’re kidding aren’t you, why would we want to pick up an average reject

Its amazing how the draft period turns hacks into superstars

I think we just take every delisted player and FA and then we will win a flag with our list of 120.

But what does that say about you if you know them Dazzle?!

??

The kid can play so there must be something more going on for him to be cut before the season is over.

This has bright-red-sparkly-alarm-bells ringing all around it.

If we have any list spots open late in the DFA period or if he is available as a rookie selection then I'd be interested. Obvious talent but clearly some risk. But given he has the right to play come round 1 it might be a more calculated risk.

Delisted for a reason. Collingwood don't get rid of players for the sake of it.

Everyone knows everyone up bush mate, and it's who you know also. Doesn't mean I mingle with them on a social basis.

Very different environment to the big city lights down your way.

He who doth protest too much Dazzle...

Some guys are so talented that you can overlook some off field worries. Like Dustin Martin and Toby Greene.

Sam Murray would be a worry.  Alas it’s a No.

Add DeGoey to that list

Not that it's every just one night but a night on the charlie for your birthday doesn't necessarily make you a trouble maker, nor does having a knockabout country mates. I'd bet money on Clarrie having come across a few undesirables in his time. Family is often a better guide.

But my concern with Murray is he's a bog ordinary kick. Might run really well and win contests but there's no point getting it if you can't use it.

Was having a laugh mate, wasn't serious

As does everyone. But I would also bet that Clarrie is far more smarter (which he is) then Murray in the upstairs department

Oliver's mates in Shepp are a lot different crowd to the ones Murray hangs out with up here. Only just 3 weeks ago did one get done for doing a break in and around local businesses and was found with a bag of meth at his disposal.

Come on man I mean who hasn’t found themselves in that position or with mates who have?!

Collingwood have a long and proud history of putting up with all sorts of crap from their players as long as they can play, so he wasn't dropped for being a [censored].  Must mean that either his injury issues are too much or he has fatal flaws in his game.

this is the jamie elliott thread yeah?

Agree. He was fast but a bit of a clanger king.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
