May as well start it now cause we all know the result (new it in the first quarter )

We look so disinterested it’s not funni. I am so looking forward to the end of the season it’s not funny.  By the way the team is playing I don’t think I am alone in my thoughts. 

We don’t seem to have any idea of how to play and Goodwin looks absolutely lost in the coaches box. 

I really hope we get some experienced assistant coaches around him and I hope he takes on board their advice cause he doesn’t seem to have any answers (or game plan). 

Very very disappointing and frustrating season.

    I gave up caring about this season 2 months ago,  but I'm actually pizzed off with that performance. 

    Something stinks to high heaven about this mob.

    This club is a disgrace.

    It's just the lack of pride that confuses me the most. The way these guys routinely let their opponents embarrass them in contests. We would have to be the worst one on one contested side in recent AFL history. We don't even appear to want to establish body position to be able to compete when the ball is coming into our areas.

    I won’t be buying a Membership early this year.

    Yes. I remember thinking that early in the season.

    When you see the likes of Viney play so softly. The coach has lost them.

    18th next year. The Lever and May trades have probably broken our list completely, two of the highest paid players spend more time injured than actually playing football. Invest in decent development coaches and rebuild through the draft. Paying overs to attract players gas failed us badly. Hope they don't make the same mistake this year.

    I left the game at half time and went home. If the players don't care then neither shall I. No membership next year, I'm going travelling instead.

    Has any team ever wasted inside 50s as much as MFC?

    Tonight 53 point, 9 goal loss, with ten (10) more I 50s.

    How bad is our structure?    Goody, please answer.

    How inept are our midfield and forward "specialist coaches"?

    I presume the full season or season to date progressive numbers are somewhere - are we THE worst converters ever?

      Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.

      It’s game day and the Demons are chasing a fourth straight win as we take on the high flying Hawks at the G. After decades of being tormented by the Hawks the Dees will be keen to extend their 7 year dominance over Hawthorn.

    • NON-MFC: Round 09

      Round 9 kicks off out west with the Dockers hosting a Collingwood side resting several stars. Fremantle need to make a statement on their home deck after some disappointing form on the road, while the Magpies will be keen to maintain their Top 2 position. Friday night sees a must-win clash between two sides desperate to stay in touch with the eight. St Kilda have shown glimpses while Carlton are clinging to relevance after a flat start to the season. Saturday’s twilight game at Marvel pits the Bombers against a struggling Sydney outfit. Essendon can’t afford another close match against a lower-ranked side, while the Swans risk sliding down the ladder even further. Up in Darwin, the fourth-placed Suns will look to extend their stay in the top four. The Bulldogs have hit their stride with three big wins on the trot and will be very keen to consolidate on their momentum. The always fiery Showdown looms as pivotal for both clubs. Adelaide are eyeing a spot in the Top 4 with a win, while Port Adelaide’s season could slip away if they drop another game and fall further behind the pack. Sunday begins with a yawn fest between Richmond and West Coast. The Tigers need to bank the points to stay clear of the bottom two, while the Eagles are still chasing their first win of the year. The Giants face one of the league’s toughest road trips as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to face the Cats. With GWS at risk of a third straight loss, Geelong will be eager to consolidate their position inside the eight and start their climb up the ladder. The round wraps up with the top-of-the-table Lions heading to Ninja Stadium to take on the second-last Roos.
