Cricket is at a very interesting point.ย  Tell you what though, as good as Smith is, is there a roo loose in the top paddock i wonder!?ย  Some of those idiosyncrasies are super weird and hard to watchย ?ย  Drivesย me bananas

Drives the opponents bananas too. I love it.ย

Only demons could go a half without a goal against a bottom 4 team

No arguments there Deever.ย  Weird to watch though

Would love to know what is really being spoken about inside the Club.ย

We, of course will never knowย

How do they expect to sign up 2020 Members??

Serious Question.ย

ย

Nothing has shown improvement this year...

The MFC live in a little bubble...

If Wade goes we are toast.ย  It all hangs on him holding up an endย IMO

What has gone on??

Too many vfl standard. Billy stretch is a momentum killer first class. Lots of mates.ย

As if theres no system. Swans have way more pride and talent.

Do you mean members in the year 2020 or 2,020 members

Kade Chandler is our currently leading our tackle count with 8..

That's [censored] right, a 1st gamer is showing more experienced senior players how to crack in and actually care!

Start well in the first 6-8 rounds next year and all will be forgiven.ย

Two goalless quarters against the swans, pathetic. Milkshake shouldโ€™ve scored at least a couple, itโ€™s a sign of how low our confidence is that he is missing goals he wouldโ€™ve gobbled up with his eyes closed last year.ย

I know we went through the up and down years of the Rev but I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve seen a bigger drop off compared to where we were last year.ย ย

Seriously. ย How bad is Spargo. Terrible. He has had 5 shocking turnovers. Three cost us goals in the rebound. ย

He is HORRIBLE. ย like a 12 year old schoolboy. ย

Another year like this and meet your new Tasmanian franchise in 2021.

They won't just bail us out again. Especially not Gil

Checked out and going through the motions

No confidence and second guessing almost everything they do

No structure and poor ability to adapt on the go

That is a [censored] disgrace.

Jones and Viney need to wear as much blame as Goodwin. [censored] pathetic captains.

ย

I honestly donโ€™t even know where to start. Goodwin looking completely out of his depth. Plan A hadnโ€™t worked this year and Plan B is non existent.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterdayโ€™s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown andย  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
