West Coast 214.159 for the season.

It pays to kick straight and/or take marks close to goal and/or get behind your opponent's defence for run-in goals.

I prefer this ladder.

There'd be some angry supporters with a 10 - 7 record but I'd take it in a heartbeat.

I think we would be on top of the ladder if the out on the full set shots counted as goals. We have had a few of those this season.

That’s a reverse super-goal.

Let's be honest - there would still be angry supporters with an 18-0 record.

Are there any stats kept on how many times a team has hit the post in a season? There has been a few of those.

All those under a goal wins haven't done our percentage any favours. Sack the coach.

The funny thing is most of our set shot misses have been 25 meters  directly in front, that's easy for under 14s

Gee whiz Gold Coast is terrible.

I just checked that Useless AFL Stats page on facebook. Great page for a laugh. I don't know how they find some of those stats.

West Coast statistically take the most difficult shots in the league according to Champion data.  They don’t rely on out the back gimmes.

Poor old Fold Coast still last.

Someone in the Useless Stats Facebook comments said "You could simply reverse the ladder and somehow Gold Coast would still be one the bottom".

It’s guaranteed we’ll start kicking goals now and miss out on the top 8.

It's the Melbourne way.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
