Is Trac playing?

First half could only be described as disgraceful.

Brayshaw leading possies but has turned it over relentlessly.

If we cleaned up our disposal we could be leading.

Very good effort in first half. Can we repeat it?

Brayshaw gets plenty of it, but his defensive efforts have been deplorable. Especially loved watching him watch riewoldt take 5 [censored] minutes kicking the ball inside 50

Waiting for Lewis to give away his customary goal through a stupid act. Should be any minute now.

For all the Jeffy haters and doubters he has worked his [censored] off and played mutiple roles so far.  Decent effort / pressure when we have lost the ball also.

I'm not used to seeing Jeffy covering so much of the ground... I like it, and he is making body on body contact, spoiling, etc.

Keep it up Jeffy... and there might be another contract for you.

We are playing like a team trying not to get flogged, not one trying to win.

[censored] off simon, we tried your "let the forwardx out number our defenders zone"

Dont be coming on here trying to convince us it wasnt the fault of the structures.

We got outplayed most of that qtr and only gave up 2 goals. 2 GOALS.

GTFO our forum goodwin, you have half time coaching duties to do.

Don’t disagree with you about the commentators, but as long as you’re not being tackled you are allowed to drop the ball, that’s what a bounce is and what happens when you drop the ball to your foot in an attempt to kick it but miss. No free in either situation.

I thought someone had a hand on him when he did it, hence the drop to get around them. I could be wrong though.

True but max has been lacking in this area all year too. Pretty sure he has not bagged one tonite.

At least we are still in this. Reset and come out like the first 4rt.

Weid needs some time at Casey. Would prefer Keilty have a crack and find out what he can do.. might give him the $650k contract.

Stretch has been really good.  13 touches, 7 of them contested, and he's generally made good decisions.  Hopefully, like others have mentioned, he gets a good run at it from here.

I think you've forgotten what the Neeld years were like.  This doesn't even come close.

May have gone over the top... Early days with Roos where it was all out defense with a dysfunctional forward line

Really feels like we’re missing Hogan atm. We don’t have a forward target. Weid is just standing there flat footed.

our players have been slipping over and fumbling the ball all night. conditions maybe a little slippery but still these guys should be doing a lot better. where is ANB, hunt, harmes, weiderman and petracca?  we are running around with 5 less players than the tigers.

Good effort but still hopeless up forward. Weed is giving us nothing. Pleased with Hore and Stretch.

Hore is one of this years good stories.

I missed the first quarter but yay managed to catch our goalless second quarter. Defence is better but we also seem to be in survival mode, preventing being scored heavily against rather than thinking about how to win.

Big stand out differences is our lack of contested marking, Weids if you wanna ask for the big bucks then the step the F up and take a grab. Also lack of pressure coming out of the forward line, it’s why you’re in there Jeffy so give us something. General cleanliness with the ball is also a big problem, so many fumbles and missed handballs.

Finally I gotta highlight one of the worst efforts I’ve seen for a long time. Brayshaw 100% gave up on the kicker before Dusty’s goal on the line. He is so much better than that so I hope one of the coaches grabs him by the helmet and gives him a spray.

We are mercifully in it but it’s time we tried to win.

We’re much better than last week in most areas but our skills are too bad for us to keep in this game.

That’s partly due to Richmond’s elite pressure but also because we’re just butchering it.

The defensive structure is better, the positional changes Goodwin made are largely working and we have a better hunger and work rate, all of which are positives. But if we keep turning it over at half forward Richmond will eventually make us pay.

I’m not sure it’s skills - I think we generally hit the player we’re pointing at. The problem comes when we kick it without having pointed at anyone. It’s as if we’re expecting a player to be there, but the only player there is Dylan Grimes, who always seems to know where our kicks will go before we do. It’s exactly the same as it has been all year.

We’ve addressed “easy to play against” though, thank f. Hopefully we can find an avenue to goal.

The Rioli drop on the boundary was worse. Dropped it to himself, and the commentators were fawning over "all the little things that Richmond does that other teams just dont"...

"Commentators" is not the right word. Cheerleaders more like. Hand them some pom poms.

We made the Preliminary Final last year and we're celebrating "effort" and "intent" in round 6. Give me a [censored] break. Structurally we are still a mess. There is no leadership. Weideman is awful. Never leads into space. Petracca has been terrible. Garlett chases once and then gives up. ANB may as well be downing pies in the stands. Someone breathes near Stretch and he shanks it. Viney, Oliver and Brayshaw play like under 10 midfielders, crashing in hoping they will get a clear possession. We have zero class. Gawn smashes it into space in our defensive 50 without straight to a Richmond player. Where is the [censored] leadership.

We are no chance. Richmond's intent puts us to shame. Their pressure is 10x ours. And we are celebrating "improved effort".

My god supporting this team has ruined some of us.
