Is the moment upon us that my Uncle Humphrey was warning us about?

So typical of the virtue signalling AFL

Seriously, What the absolute f does this fl.og have to do with football?

A politician criticises the ideology of islam, and the league thinks it should leap to the defence of its 2 islamic players.

Good god they make me sick.

Yeah, nah. Not really interested in this faux-intellectual’s thoughts on footy.

However, I’m available anytime Hock wants a chat.

Before the Pepe the Frog, anti soy milk crowd take over...

While I don't disagree with most of his politics, why Waleed Aly? I didn't even know if he had an interest in the game before this.

If it's to appear more inclusive then I would have suggested they may have wanted to actually do something more constructive during the Adam Goodes saga rather than tut tutting.

You have got to be kidding me. Why is this happening anyway?

If they want to fix the game then get rid of GWS and GC and go back to 16 teams. We don't have enough talent to cover 18 teams.

It is utterly disgusting. The politically correct pandering of the AFL to religious minorities is sickening. Aly wouldn't know his &$%^ from a pigs bladder.

The AFL , especially under the Dill, have totally lost the plot.

How many people watch his pathetic excuse for a TV show? I just don't understand why he has the profile that he does.

A solution in search of a problem.

The AFL should f**k off their super panels of journos and coaches and have one comprising the presidents of each club's cheer squad. Get some actual fan involvement.

If the AFL did this to encourage people to dislike this guy more, it seems like mission accomplished.

im surprised at the level of dislike for Waleed, any particular reason? I'm not a huge fan but he does seem like a passionate guy that isn't afraid to get his opinion out there

switch off the show if you don't like it

ps. obviously it is ridiculous to get his opinion on the AFL

QFT.

Although Waleed appears on the ABC's Offsiders and comments on AFL regularly. He definitely has interest, but by no means would have thought him an expect to be consulted on rule changes.

Only Waleed can save this country.Only Waleed knows what is really going on lounge rooms across the nation. It's colonialism,it's racism, it's pure evil plotted and perpetuated by people of no colour.Waleed needs to step up and help us become more accepting ,decent, intelligent, caring, loving and inclusive. If you disagree with this you are racist, evil, and narrow minded.Help us Waleed. We are nothing without you.

Waleed seems like a perfectly reasonable human being to me but his opinion on AFL is no more valid than anyone’s on here. Strange.

I counter... he's not reasonable at all as he simply thinks his opinion more relevant. Bloke has more tickets on himself than Capper ;)
