Ha ha, so Max Gawn not in the top 8 ruckmen in AFL. Now you have got that published why not move onto other sports and see what other insights you can share.

Surely this is an oversight? If not he should be stripped of his media credentials.

?

Maxy is number one in hitouts and he is not in the top 8???

Hilarious really

Why does this moron have a job. A team of monkeys could do a better job.

@LMAO , ruined a good coffee this buffoon.

As good as Mr Press Red’s comment on the Collingwood show last night. “ It’s great having a Brownlow Brodie run around”.

I hope Nicnat has an insurance policy on his hair. It’s his major asset.

Gawn is also the leading ruckman in the coaches votes.

It can't be an oversight, so it must be the personal view of this clown show.

He has both S.A team rucks in the top 8. Shows his bias. Obviously hasn't seen much of Max.

What a drone this fool is. Don't give it any credibility. If his workmates have a quiet word in his ear, perhaps he'll wise up, but don't count on it.

Some people who live in Adelaide are just anti everything Melbourne particularly re football. Obviously applies to this bloke!

You have to laugh!

I assume he wasn't included because he's in another league.

No?

I'll see myself out.

I could live with this if he put in the disclaimer 'Apologies to Max Gawn but a bad run with injuries last year stops me pulling the trigger yet. However, all signs so far point to him getting back to his influential best by the end of the year.'

But even that would have been contradictory as he frigging put Nic Nat in after a year out with a knee.

Lazy journalism.

Hilarious.  Add it to the pile.  When we burn the place down it is going to be so sweet remembering all the [censored] we were served on the way there.  Max not in the top 8 - can someone show that to Max?  I think we will see the desired effect....

Can someone please go and troll this clown mercilessly on Twitter?

No need, actually. This clown has made a fatal error known as 'hare kari', providing further evidence that the pen is less mighty than the sword when the brain is feeble and one-eyed. Football commentary and Adelaide is a bad mix - just living here in terms of football news and views is an agony.

Well our Max has already said that he is aiming to return to his rightful place as the AA ruckman, after injury cruelled his 2017 season.  Seems that he has lots of ground to make up (lol).  Maybe this article will spur him on to even greater heights!

Nah.  Let's get Maxy to do it!

Excellent. Let max use it as a spur...

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.
