Sorry but it gives me flashbacks to the abomination that was our ‘welcome to colour television’ guernsey. Took us years to get rid of it. Give me that reversed, predominately red one any day

It's great, it's a "throwback" jumper that we'll wear several times a year and if it comes down to it is far prefer to see us in this on GF day than any other clash jumper we've had over the years.

It's fantastic the club is listening to supporters, it shows they understand that these things are important, even if they may seem inconsequential

Wear it in a classic win next year a la our win against WCE last year and history will start to be rewritten.

I mean, we've been wearing our traditional jumper for the last decade during probably the bleakest period in our clubs history. Doesn't mean I want to see us do away with our traditional strip.

Love it.

Nothing will be better than our home jumper, and I still prefer the red back but this is just so much better than any white one we have had. Particuly the bali knock off from last year which was horrendous.

I do have a soft spot for our original red clash jumper but understand that it will not solve all the problems.

Also would be a fan of an inverted home top with mainly red with a navy yoke. Even if the yolk was more of a traditional V. Much like the kangaroos new clash strip except red with a blue V.

North fans got to vote on their clash and chose the below.

It is so much better than the white jumper it's not even funny. Well it is now that it's gone.

I'll always prefer the traditional colours, but if we must have alternatives this is great.

Does anyone know if we will be having the Zurich logo blended into the jumper? Looks like sh*t with the blue square...

I hope they can blend it better than the two versions I've seen that seem to be stuck on over the AHG logo.

The logo appears to be heat patched on at this stage, presumably for the photoshoot but I’d suggest by the time the season starts NB will have it integrated into the jumper. Minor detail, love the jumper.

Voted love it but more of a like it.

Despite our poor years in the Royal Blue it was our jumper when I started following my beloved Dees way back.

I've always maintained we must be red and blue.

The dark blue with red back is great, a reverse of our traditional jumper would be fine along with the Royal Blue if we must wear one. Just not white

Every time they replayed that Tommy Mac goal in the week following our win over West Coast, it gave me the irrits seeing that white jumper.  Was stoked for the win and what a great game Tommy, Viney and several others had played, but those white jumpers were just so in your face not MFC, that it really took some of the enjoyment out of it for me.

The Roos just want it to look more like a MFC jumper - need to replace the white with red, sorry Norf, no dice.

Poll should have option ' it's OK only because it's better than the white'

I hope it clashes with Carlton in round 9 and the jumper ends up getting canned.

As I mentioned in the other thread, our clash jumper should be essentially the red jumper we used from 2004-2007.

Just my 2 cents worth though. I'm glad the majority are happy.

BBP, how could it clash with Carlton, we are in the white shorts?

Could not give a rats clacker what we wear -

If we make a grand final and wear it would I buy one - Yes 100% I would

If we make the finals and wear it would I buy one - Yes 100% I would

Would I buy one irrespective of what happens in the season - 50/50

Yes DD..we know you don't care. I have no doubt you'll post to this effect a 100 times more in any number of threads.

Some however do. Those that undestand this appreciate the nuances. They'll appreciate we have always referenced the Red and Blue even should we have gowned up in prissy white or disco silver.

I for one prefer even this rendition. It still screams MELBOURNE. I like that.

Those that dont care,  id actually wonder what elements about anything are sacrosanct ?

Whilst it's about winning its about winning as MELBOURNE and recognisably so. Thats how a culture is built....not as non descripts.

The poll should have an option. ' im ok with it , its better than none red and blue'

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
