We MUST win tomorrow, or we're in serious trouble.

If we can't win tomorrow ... we have not improved as much as we thought .... so let's enjoy and see what the morrow brings

Swans showed today they are the best team going around at present so perhaps last week was not that bad and we have Hoges and Garlett back

Agree re us earning our own way.

Disagree on the Swans - beating Cold Toast, no big feat, and us severely under manned.

68 points not even half time tigers drank there own bath water after beating port and the media pumping them up all week as contenders

I disagree. We are missing 3 of our best 5 midfielders, and playing against a side that's only strength is it's midfield.

If we win tomorrow we are a genuine side - as we have a lot working against us.

Credit where it's due, Saint are playing exceptional footy tonight.

Rance top 5 least likeable blokes in the AFL.

Bang on!!!

Not a fan of Prance at all.

Bloody hell went off to cook dinner after q time , just saw the score!!??

this is [censored] terrifying

Best I've seen a side play this year I reckon... Quiet unbelievable what the Saints are producing

Pressure well and truly on. Does the Melbourne Football Club want to play finals? You beat teams like Carlton.

Getting smashed out the middle and off half back, Nankervis has rucked the whole year it has finally caught up with hi

Membrey is gone.

How can Grimes still be On the ground?

The bloke was all over the place and clearly concussed.

Agree. That was a very crude hit.

Richmond players barely reacted which was strange.

Lol Richmond...I was just starting to rate you.....

Imagine demonland if we were in the tigers shoes right now hahaha! We really need to win tomorrow

Membrey must go for 3 or 4.

Very crude hit.

OMG WTF is going on there?    Toiges absolutely pathetic.   Saints playing above themselves.

It will be interesting to see what they can do in the second half.

We could well be out of the 8 tomorrow if we don't beat Carlton.

Incentive enough?

Some strange thing have been happening in old Tigerland, Maybe the the "ide of the Tiger"

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

Salem proved to be a valuable contributor as a reliable and solid one-on-one medium-sized defender in what was undoubtedly his most impressive season since the premiership year. He remains a highly capable rebounding option for the Demons as he approaches his 200th game at the club.
