Saw this too, it was on last Sunday Footy Show.

His reply was a dead giveaway he will likely be a Demon next season.

I just shrugged my shoulders as I am not sure how he fits in when we are loaded with half backs and not sure he can play in the midfield.  Though we may have plans to move Hunt to a wing.

Glad you could read it that way...i watched the question about 5 times and still got no indication. I hope you're right.

thought I heard the third player was tippett to the dogs, (freeing up salary cap space for sydney)??

I think you are right. I just don't rate Tippett. Played about 4 good games for The Camry Crows

Who or what are we meant to be giving up in this deal?

Probably Nathan and JV.

it would be tricky to se it happen; you'd think dogs would see tippett primarily as a ruck who can play forward in rotation with boyd and to a lesser degree roughead

could easily be more complicated that just dees, dogs, and swans involved - given that both melbourne and footscray are being discussed with regards to lever, you'd think he'd be part of any trade that also saw jones, tippett and 'something else' moved around

Lol.

In no way, shape or form did he even remotely suggest he'd be going anywhere next year and his body language similarly gave absolutely nothing away.

What on earth were you watching?

The Zak Jones interview thats been posted.

Will be a Demon 100%.

The antics Buddy and Dusty could/would get up to.... the mind boggles.

Not sure if serious...

I hope you are stirring 'cause I already have enough people on my 'propensity to make stuff up/misinterpret/embellish' list

Its not what he said its what he didn't say. The normal response would be that they love it at club x and want to play on there next year but just need to work out the details. What he said was "I'm pretty happy here and I'm working through that each week, its good to be working through that, I think I've to to focus more on my football and executing each week" not a huge difference but we can hope.

Seriously, what do we give up to get both Zac and Jake Lever?

Lots of high draft picks or contracted players - we do not have any OOC players with reasonable currency - only Frost and ANB

Lolz Bulldogs and their Bernie Quinlan curse. Tippet now? Still looking for a replacement after all these years. Why don't they just employ a forward development coach fcs? They think they're Sydney but they're doing it wrong.

The only thing he said was Nat has been talking about him coming over. Well just have to wait and see, or maybe we could get information out of some ones Grandma?

What do we give up for Zac? What's his worth to the team?

There is a definite romantic idea of him playing with his brother, particularly given Nathan is coming towards the twilight of his career.

I've said it before I don't care who his brother is, he has a rare combination of speed and hardness and a little bit of class.

I think he is one of those players that whatever you get him for will be looked on as a steal in five years.

I have no idea if any rumours are founded or not.  I hope there is some foundation.

What are you talking about, you can practically see him signing a contract with the Dees.

And in the background you can clearly see Nev Jetta ducking as Dixon collects him.

Oh yeh now I see.

Oscar is also in there to the side somewhere.

Doing something.

Something like, good..

I don't know what, but it's good.

Edit * (Jokes everyone, relax).

Heard a very interesting story about young Zac at the draft camp when interviewed by Collingwood lol.

I heard he told them to GAGF, that he would never play for them

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
