I think that may have something to do with their reluctance to confirm details about a player who they are not actually managing. All 3 player managers were reluctant to comment on players from their Management company, who they were not the actual managers of. Made sense to me, and was rather heartening news re Jesse.

I hate how prominent player managers have become in trade talk.

Their job is to negotiate contracts with the clubs, not facilitate trades between clubs.
