Oliver will be the best of them I think. The numbers he's getting with 60% game time in his first year have been crazy at times, and then you add in his height, excellent decision making, calmness, skill (hand and foot) and aggression and you get the complete package for a modern midfielder. I'm surprised he doesn't get any love in the media, he will soon.

The four apocalypse horsemen.

I always had a soft spot for Daniel Bell.  Had the worst peripheral vision ever, but I'll never forget his BOG game on Scott Welsh that day at the 'G.  He played a blinder!

All 3 are amazing ball winners for kids. This preseason will be interesting to see which of them is able to do the work on their fitness and kicking and push towards being consistent performers. Brayshaw and Petracca are both very good forwards as well. Clarry isn't as natural forward but he seems to have a nose for a goal like his off the ground effort on the weekend.

He will be our Bont over the next 12-24 months.... The media will fall in love with the way he goes about his footy and he will impact games more and more as his tank grows...

Exciting times...

My 3 in order on what I've seen...

1. Oliver

2. Petracca

3. Brayshaw

Although on what I saw on Saturday night, Brayshaw looked amazing at times... His tackling was ferocious when it was needed and his 2nd and 3rd efforts were fantastic!

Trac just looks like a beast and with a full pre-season under his belt could be anything...

But Oliver has an X factor about him that sends blood to a region of my body like not many red-headed earthlings have been able to in the past...

If they all reach their top potential I feel Trac will be the best of them.

At the moment he seems to flash in and out of games, if he puts in 4 quarter performances he could cause some massive headaches for the opposition.

We're talking about Voss, Black, Ackermanis and Lappin here.  This group have the potential to be that good.

Oliver is alot like Voss.

Dom Tyson reminds me of simon Black.

Brayshaw has a bit of NigeLappin without the booming kick.

Petracca is like Aka but more powerful.

Matched only by clumsy Kosi from the Saints.

Oliver = Voss (Michael, not his brother)

So we won't sign him up to coach 2030 then ?

I reckon Trac has the highest ceiling. If he can become a big accumulator, and spend more time in the middle, he can be anything.

I'm with you on this Jaded. Trac has the markings of a superstar.

I also think he has a bit of "left field" about him - the ability to do something that appears to be genius but he will make look everyday. Similar to Stevie J at times.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
