Hey, Everyone, I just thought of something. If Kalani ends up in Gold Coast's Academy, and with them not needing to bid for the players, what does that mean for Melbourne?

This is something that clearly should have been discussed with the AFL before allowing the concessions they have.

He will go to the gc, if they live in QL you would think he would chose gc, to play with his mates.

The kid is 6 years away from being old enough to be drafted, a lot can happen and I'm sure these concessions will change, if they haven't means Gold Coast won't have an AFL team and will be the Tasmania devils

^ Gold Coast is a soul-less place; unsuited to the tribalism of sport.

Can confirm Kalani will be a Demon in 2020, likely rookie listed under the father son rule.

He will only be allowed to play for Casey though   (similar to Jesse Hogans first season after the mini draft).

I’m leaving this post up to show why you’ve been banned.

Posting rumors as fact is not the way things are done here.

If these things come to fruition I will unban your account.

By the time he's old enough, GCS will be the Tassie Devils. In that case he'd be sure to pick Melbourne

Love the pooch.

Jeff is a great Demon man. He’s been at a few of the Dees games in Queensland.

Maybe a future father-son.

Fingers crossed

No problems, Jeff only played 36 games with the Dockers, so go to Dad's old team, with your brothers maybe,  or risk the draft.

It all only matters of course if the boys are AFL standard.

Jeff White just posted these pics of his son who is turning 9 this year.

What do you guys think

Another F/S on the way?

Recognise the poise and balance in these still shots. Augers well if he is interested in the Mighty Demons in ten or so years time. The only thing more important than family is the MFC Family! He'd get a wonderful reception and if he was half as good as his Dad, we'd be on a winner.

Young Tiernan Stynes (son of Jimmy) looks like being another tall potential father son and he’s around 14/15 years old. Apparently, he’s a top basketballer at under 16 level.

Imagine Stynes and White as young talks playing with a mature Luke Jackson in a few years time!

Looks like Jeff is really leading his son to be a father son, so that will have a influence on him somewhat, just like it had on viney.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
