Would love Anderson at the Dees. Need to make sure we land one of he or Kennedy!

For some reason I can see him ending up at Essendon....

Andersen is the classic Roos' selection.

not sure, just a thought.. I reckon JT is the type that Clarkson can develop within the Hawks structures... he would spend some time at box Hill, but they ground their players very well, always have, since Yabby Jeans days.

Do what we have to, this kid is an absolute gun!

i'd be shocked if we aren't neck deep in this one.

Jed who?

Every name that crops up...

'Get him, gun!'

'300 gamer!'

'Get it done, Dees!'

Chill, ffs.

Jed Anderson is in a whole different league to Melksham, Kennedy, Bugg and all those players, if he's on the move and we aren't chasing, he either has some huge issue no one knows about or the recruiters are off sinking pizz under a tree.

10 games in 3 seasons. 4 this year, 0 last year.

If he hasn't been injured, I'm tipping this guy is another Michie/Newton/Riley.

Edit: I see he was injured last year. Still, regarding this year, I believe that if the player is good enough, they can force their way in to sides. Hawthorn used plenty of their VFL players through the year and this guy was clearly a long way down the pecking order. Recent experience has made me very wary of taking players in this position.

Tom Mitchell struggled to crack the Swans midfield for a couple of years there where he was certainly good enough, Anderson was tipped by a lot of people to take out the rising star this year.

Brother, I get your user name and I'm in that space too...

But, for the first time in a decade, I have complete faith in our FD and coaches.

I wouldn't be selling the farm for this kid. He's a "cream on the top" type player. And as Nasher said, if you're good enough, you'll get a game. Billy Hartung was rated higher by the Hawks than Anderson, so talk about him being a "gun" is over the top.

This guy is an immense talent. He just looks a jet. I'm surprised he wasn't able to cement his spot, but he has had injury concerns.

The Hawks generally aren't too bad at the trade table, but I can't see them letting him go too cheaply. He still has another year to run on his contract and I still believe the Hawks see him as part of their future.

He would be a handy pick up but probably not worth it for the price the Hawks might ask for.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
