The problem is that Port were playing cautious low confidence footy. We gave them a sniff, and now their confidence is back. We can reset all we like, but it's out of our hands now, a rout is on its way, and in the space of 8 minutes, Port are back in the season.

Is that you, Mark 'Webber' Neeld?

A few called it really early with the momentum shift and they were dead on.

Amazing how predictable it is to know we will fall into a heap at the first sign of resistance. All other clubs know this, it only takes a bit of pressure (12 minutes to be exact) and we will fall in a heap.

Leadership nowhere in sight.

Matt Jones loves giving away stupid free kicks.

Yeah, it was like the Murphy free last week, the guy is on the ground, it's not hard to tackle them in that situation.

Just dumb.

Spencer reminds me of the old 80's ruckmen, doesn't look agile, loves to punch the ball, but does his job

When will we turn a corner? Do we just have to expect this every time we win?

We are 0-15, soon to be 0-16 in games after wins since Round 14 of 2011.

What a bunch of losers.

broadbent seems to be now playing a defensive role on vince, who is playing a defensive role on boak. means that we should have a spare somewhere - who is it?

He would be our spare man in defence.

This next half will be a good indicator of how far we have come - a chance to show some G & D and fight back.

If we didn't have so many spud pea hearts in the team i would be quietly confident we would give it a decent go chook and not let this game slip. But this is the MFC and we always have at least half a dozen or so running around every week. No different this week to the last 8 seasons really. And also one of the worst teams ever playing interstate/away.

Another selection disaster.

Fitzpatrick with nobody to play on, ends up on Monfries, gets smashed, goes forward, we end up too big and they'll walk it out of the backline all afternoon.

Been a fair break between goals for either team. Watch them get 2 quick one's now. Always happens.

I love how we are all talk during the week............Port area good team we'll need to be at our best to beat them, yet come game time we fall away way too easy. This footy club love to talk, but does not for the life of it know how to walk.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
