We finally get a game at the MCG after two games interstate (this will make it three away games in a row) and we are playing against the ever-overrated Tigers.

I am actually not overly upset after the loss today becuase unlike last week we had a crack, it was only missed opportunities that cost us.

Even if Richmond get over the top of Brisbane tonight we should go in as favourites and we should win.

Depends which Melbourne shows up.. If they put Richmond under the same pressure they did Adelaide today and play with that same intensity we will be a real chance but a tough slog today on the back of 2 interstate trips and 6 day break although the tiges have one too could be tough on a young side... I'll at least go into this game optimistic

No they weren't. Brisbane are just in a very deep hole at the moment. They were kicking at 55% efficiency up til halftime, and still Richmond were only a few goals ahead. It was a downhill ski affair. They are a lacklustre team with lacklustre players and if we can kick straight we'll win and win well.

It's not really as a simple as 'if we kick straight we'll win'. The first quarter of yesterday's game showed exactly this.

We were absolutely all over Adelaide, yet we went into quarter time only a few points up.

Effort isn't a problem for us. It's clear we can compete and match it against sides. But we really need to be creating a lot more shots on goal from our forward entries. Not just bang it in.

It should be said that this our only realistic chance to get the four points in the next four weeks.

Freo, Swans and Hawks await and things will only get more difficult. We need to get the W's while we can.
