NAB Challenge fixture confirmed

Out of the 6 games that aren't televised, surprisingly the powerhouses of North, St Kilda, Dogs and us are involved.

I much prefer playing Essendon as our lead in game as opposed to hawthorn this year when we lost by 100 points!

What a shocking coincidence with those 4 teams. How did it happen!

Maybe we can get together with the Dogs and work out a broadcast on either clubs websites. Absolute farce if it's not covered at all.

"Note: Melbourne's 2015 members will be able to attend its three NAB Challenge matches for free."

This is a good move. I haven't gone to pre-season games in the past, but think I will make both the Victorian games next year.

Dees in ballarat hell yea I will be there

Already told the mrs I'm going to that game. Just an hour down the highway. You beauty.

The day of the ballarat game my wife is due to have our second child so might have to tie her legs shut

If only you had done that 9 months ago you wouldn't be in this predicament now would you?

Marvelous thing this free entry. I wonder if that's to offset the travel costs?

It's for all teams. It's the AFL finally realizing that ask members to pay up more for preseason games is just price gouging.

Also if given the choice between a one off fee for a game or buying your membership on the day more (than previous) will buy memberships and that will help the club.

I do fear the line at Etihad for the 3rd game to buy a membership and get in to the game will be massive though.

Nice for us Dees in the West, Fish and Chips at Fishing boat harbour and a couple of beers in Freo before watching the Dees

Don't get too comfy, you've got training and match reports to write up and post!

The Freo and Essendon games will be on fox.

The bulldogs game won't be televised.

Thanks mate. Guess I'll have to head up to Ballarat for the dogs game then

Anyone in the west want two tickets to our NAB game vs Freo?

I can email them through, not after anything for them. Would prefer they go to a Demonlander before giving them to a Dockers supporter. Feel free to PM me.

The Foxtel guide has neither the Freo nor Bulldogs game showing

Are you sure they're showing the Freo game?

As will I. I only live 5 mins from the ground. Better than the 3 hour round trip to the G during the season. I won't miss the pitiful looks I get on the V Line train home either after another loss when people see me in my guernsey.

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’
