No announcement who it is yet, according to family's wishes. But saying a Melbourne legend of the 70s.

Just tonight was told and with 3 aw announcing passing of legend it is my all time legend

Our past players have not enjoyed a good run in recent times

Unfortunately some incredibly sad news tonight guys, with the death of the great Robbie Flower. Robbie had dramas with his heart recently and was placed into a coma a couple of days ago only to lose his battle this afternoon. Was the reason I started following this great club. Farewell to the great man

Am close friends with Robbies nephew and received a call about an hour ago. It's a huge shock to the family at the moment as you would expect.

Although i was too young to ever have the honour of seeing you play, your passion for the game, ability to play it and uncompromising love for the MFC is the stuff of legend. You'll live forever in the hearts, souls and words of the MFC faithful.

    Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time.
