Another disappointing season for a player who has never been able to shake off injuries or rise to the form of his days as a junior. Has asked to be traded.

His path has been very disappointing, and certainly influenced by his injury woes.

Good luck to him in his quest for a trade - I am not sure if we would get much though.

He can never get out onto the park time to delist him.

One of the most short sighted draft selections we have ever made. An extremely limited footballer who had success against his peers because he developed earlier than most. Once he was up against players of similar size and strength he had nothing to offer. Another who should have been delisted two years ago.

Practically the only reason we drafted him was because he was Trenners best mate and would stop the homesickness that might have occurred with Trengove.

Did look good in defence in his second year then for some reason they shifted him forward and hasn't been the same since.

Great in a straight line as demonstrated by his hit on Shaw in his first game but has almost zero lateral movement.

It's a shame becuase he is one of the few Melbourne players who can kick.

Another who looked a million bucks when he came onto the scene. was super confident, courageous with a strong kick. I thought gee we got one here. but he got injured and never seem to develop.

Yes he lacked pace, but so does Neville Jetta. Don't know why he couldn't become a role player. Unlike Blease and Strauss, he loved the physical side but yet another who never made it.

Here is one guy who I desperately hoped would make it.

Is tough as nails, can kick the pill and has a bit of agro.

Unfortunately just can't take the next step however I liked how he played as an inside mid in the two's instead of on a flank where has has most of his career.

If he sticks around he needs to lose a few kg's and stay out of the gym. If its good enough for Jordan Lewis to slim down to assist his speed (or lack thereof) then its good enough for anyone.

I still hope he becomes something but wouldn't be surprised to see him on the chopping block.

Good post, but I have to say, you don't exactly have to be Nostradamus to make that prediction...

LOL. The rubbish pedalled here is amazing.

Not agile enough to play small.

Not AFL standard.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
