I actually think that we didnt gain pick 2 but we have lost pick 4. No way Frawley compo will be band 1 with the way his playing. Will be lucky to get a second rounder.

Might move to Minnesota. At least then my local team will always show some effort.

What a bunch of pea hearted players. I am done with this team... The team I grew up with gave me hope and enjoyment.. this one gives me herpes.. or is that the cheap hookers fault.. either way I feel ripped off.

I honestly think we would do better if we traded the lot of them.

I'm a 35 year consecutive member and I ain't buying another membership until we start winning games, not because I'm disloyal , but because of my mental health...gotta switch off footy for a couple of years, start getting into other sports.

Following their pathetic effort at the MCG against arguably the worst team in the competition, who lost 3 players to injury through the match....Melbourne decided to rename itself the Melbourne Jokers in honour of all players who played this day.....

Well done all

Feeling physically sick now....

The only reason my kids keep following this team and I use that term loosely is cause of me.

I am even starting to doubt myself tbh.

So 18 players beat 21 looking forward to next year

would love to see a demographic analysis of melbourne's supporter base, reckon you'd find that our demise is on the cards after 8 years of nothing. I would guess average age of our members would be north of 50 and we'd have easily the lowest (excluding franchise clubs, but would be interesting to see the real stats) kids and teenager members by far. Get ready to start coughing up more equalisation money AFL

Frawley is supposedly one of our best Players. That explains everything,

I reckon some of our local Footballers could play better than this lot, at least they would have some heart .

It also amazes me just how bad we can play when we things go aginst us it just amplifies how truly bad this side is .

Melbourne football club will have to start giving away memberships to have a club , or worse yet start paying us to attend the matches :(

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
