Reckon Dom Tyson will win 'bluey Truscott" this year, been most consistent all year

Is possible he has leapfrogged Jonesy the last few weeks, assuming Jones was leading most of the year

Dunn is also a big chance

My top 5 with 3 rounds to go

1. Nathan Jones

2. Dom Tyson

3. Lynden Dunn

4. Neville Jetta

5. Bernie Vince

Jack Viney , Daniel Cross and Tom McDonald all chances for the top 5

Definitely a much more fun year for the Bluey with our best players and some young guns with bright futures vying for the award

last season, Terlich and Matt Jones finished in the top 5 in the most boring Bluey count of all time.... shudder.

Would be a hell of an effort to nudge out Jonesy but I have him finishing a close second. He's got to be one of the recruits of the year for the competition, in terms of value I'd have him no 1.

I think Nathan Jones is still most likely, sheer hard work and response to pressure, still our number 1 all-round midfielder and player.

Tyson has had issues with overall disposal efficiency over the course of the year, same as Vince and Viney, actually.

But, couldn't help noticing that in the last few weeks that number has been climbing, to the point where his current form puts him right in the elite. Tyson would not be far off the 2014 B&F, and I'm starting to think he wont just be 'very very good', but truly top-tier elite in seasons to come.

Jones to become just the sixth player in 80 years of the award to win 3 or more and the only player to win 3 on the trot, apart from Big Jimmy who did it in 95/96/97. He's also finished 2nd, 4th and 5th in his 9 years at the club.

Tyson as a 32 gamer looks sensational and should definitely finish second, he'll probably end up with 3 or more blueys himself by the end of the journey

I tipped Tyson in the MFC B&F competition that they are running on Facebook.
On consistency, I would say Jones but how many blokes win three B&F's in a row?

I would say Nev will get top ten in the Bluey. I think the role he plays might make it hard for him to win it but I was one of many who thought his time was up. Kudos to you Nev!

Off memory Tyson was poor between rounds 4 and 6, only averaging 15 touches and was subbed out of the game against Sydney.

He was also a bit flat between rounds 12 and 17 averaging 20 touches.

However he's last 3 weeks have been outstanding averaging 30 touches.

Too many flat spots imo to win a B&F, but his season has been outstanding for a 21 year old.

Dunn has faded a bit since signing that 3 year contract.

N Jones should and will win it.

Jetta has been a stand out this year, super consistant with many scalps along the way, I would not be surprised if he wins it.

I would be very surprised; there's been 6 games he hasn't played in. I know he's been good - excellent in fact, and I expect he'll poll as anyone on a per-game basis, but can't see him tallying enough votes to win from that far back when the likes of Jones and Tyson will most likely have 22 games to count from and have been good in most.

Yeah good point Nasher.

I withdraw my "not surprised" and replace it with complete surprise if he wins.

This is an important point if the award is still calculated as I recall in the past. Is it still a system where votes are awarded out of seven for each player in every game they play? If so, players who play the most games have the best chance. Expect Watts, Bail and Matt Jones to gain more votes than players who have missed a few games, such as Jetta.

Think jones will win in just on consistency.. Tyson has had some standout games though, his had a few 25+ touches & goals to go with it. Dunns second half of the season hasn't been as good as his first 10-12 rounds.. Jetta will be an interesting one, came in at round 5 and missed another game but has been super consistent and done some big jobs. Think Jamar has been pretty good since coming back from injury, cross missing a couple could hurt his top 5 chances.

Jones

Tyson

Vince

Dunn

Cross

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
