The story so far -

Frawley sends a message to his best mate saying "get me out of here" - Rivers forwards it on to Scott, the negotiations begin.

Geelong have an offer in the vicinity of 450k - 500k over 5 years on the table.

Melbourne 550k - 600k 5 years

Freo - 500k - 550k 7 Years.

Those figures show he will be taking a pay cut to have "success" at Geelong. His manager is using the Fremantle offer as leverage but history will show, Geelong don't pay overs.

Wonder if there is a bit of a ploy here by the Club so that there isn't any definitive answer from Frawley until after today's request for a special assistance pick is decided. If he had already announced he was going there's no way the AFL would entertain a first round draft pick on top of picks 2 and 3 but without knowing if he's staying or going at this stage maybe it would help us getting a first rounder.
