If we dont have enough talls then work on a game plan using smalls and keeping the ball moving and low to the ground running the big fellows around. just need to be thinking abit more about how we play and not try to play the way we would if we have a decent tall and functioning forward line.

Another of your top notch sources..?

I think Jay Clark wrote an article on it last night but it was due to Watts not completing training and wearing a compression sock or something similar. My guess would be precaution as he apparently moved okay

Watts reported as doubtful for this week

OMG -- maybe list the fit ones rather than the injuries

While I seriously doubt he is AFL standard

That might be taking it a little too far.

Whilst I think OD underestimates his talents.

he definitely over estimates Pedos abilities

Our trouble is Dee that we don't really have proven quality smalls/quicks at this point either. I like the strategy though. Just don't think we have those types of options who we know can be relied upon to deliver.

That's not to say we won't develop them going forward but it's not really a geniune option right now. I wish it was, particularly this week. Can't see how else we can beat the Weagles with a standard set up....not that anything is standard with the MFC line up right now. Barely a dangerous key position player available to pick.

Watts was limping in the 2nd half on Saturday night. Wouldn't be suprised if he's pulled up sore.

I think he got kicked on the lower leg by that muppet-esque hairdo guy from StK

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
