Just heard that Nathan Carroll went on a rampage in Prahran and attacked several people, king hitting a couple of them. He's been arrested so you can expect the usual "Ex Melbourne Footballer Nathan Carroll….."

Liked Nathan. Let's hope it's not the Uncle Doug's

So did I but he really went off the rails, I guess his background was pretty harsh.

There was a period where he was a bit of a man around town if I recall. How much do you know RF?

Ironic that he saved his career by getting suspended in the VFL, therefore Daniher noted he stuck up for his team mates and gave him a few games.

His bad hair cuts were his other specialty besides totally trolling Fraser Gehrig.

Very true. Just read an old article that mentioned both Carroll boys Grandfather was a fighter in Jimmy Sharman's Travelling troupe. By all accounts his has been an unorthodox and tough upbringing. Early days but it reads like a country lad struggling with city life as much as anything.

It appears he king hit one man chased another then hit another for no apparent reason.

Sounds like he needs some time out

My last visual memory of him was wrestling Fraser Gehrig to the ground after he tried to play on around him just before half time? Our last final appearance in 2006. I think Gehrig never reappeared that game. A month later he has had some altercation with Ben Holland and was banished from the club. Last I heard he was playing up north and working in mining!

Played up at Glenrown couple of Ks down the road from me.. Played mostly forward and played off in the granny with a loss. Fits in well down there..

Are we talking about the same bloke? Talent issues, yes. Soft I don't think so.

He was scared of a smaller player from Freo (one of the Carr Brothers). A guy of his size should of deck that little %#$@

What do we need to do to get a player like John Duckworth in the team. Then we would not be considered a soft team. Mind you under the current rules he may not be on the ground all that much. Oh well you can not win them all.

All with one arm in a sling. "Someone" must've put a combination of substances in his drink....

I suspect that Hood missed the irony!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
