Congratulations on Nate Jones and Col Sylvia who will be both chalking up 150 games for the Dees this weekend.

Jeremy Howe will also play his 50th AFL game.

scary to think howe has only played 50, gunna be a handy player in another 50

well done boys!

it would be a tragedy to go down by 100 or something with so many milestones.

Hopefully we can really push the cats

It'll be a great day when 150 game milestones at the club are dwarfed by 5-6 players in the 200-250 game range for the MFC, particularly if they are of the quality of Nate Jones.

Sensing a little bit more respect to be earned back this week with a good performance at the cattery on the back of these guys' hard work. Great job Jonesy, Sylvia and Howie!

Wish Jonesy's 150th was next week. Never has a guy deserved a celebratory win more than Jones.

Hopefully it's a good showing regardless.

Jones has hardly missed a game since his debut, which is a testimony to his toughness and professionalism. Genuine chance of 300 at this pace.

Yeah - he might be a bit less boring by 100, and even a little bit exciting and worth watching by 150 ;-))

Nasher spot on. He'd need to play 20 games a year until he was 32 to get there though, unless he picks up an extra bunch of finals games it'll be a tough ask.

Somewhat fitting that he plays his 150th against a bloke on the other team also playing his 150th - J Selwood. Similar in that they are both heart and soul players for their respective clubs, yet are poles apart in terms of success on the field.

Hopefully Jonesy gets to see the success he has earned in his service to the club, and the path to that success has begun in earnest.

well done boys.

Both gun players.

Hope Jonesy gets back to back Blueys. We haven't had a dual winner since the 1990', incredible fact

Col is underappreciated by MFC supporters, and would have a Best and Fairest or two if not for all the games he misses each season due to injury. He came 5th in the Bluey in 2010 despite playing only 15 games and has averaged over 20 disposals the last 5 seasons. in 2009 he averaged 22 touches and a goal a game in 17 games, and those 5 missed games robbed him of another high B anf F finish.

Hope they both dominate this Saturday and we can do the impossible and roll the Cats.

wow you are right

that had totally slipped my memory

i was positive we hadnt had a dual winner since Jim Stynes

makes me even angrier at Juniors treatment by Bailey and Schwab

absolute disgrace

Some finals would sure help, deanox. Someone mentioned Joel Selwood - he has played in 16 finals. You'd think that by the end of next season he'll have racked up an entire extra season just in finals.

Well done to all three! Love them all. And, Jonesy has missed just 5 games along the journey? That's remarkable these days!

Here's hoping the entire team lifts for them (and Col, himself plays out of his skin) and they pull off the impossible -- a win at the cattery...!

for Jones that will be 150 out of a possible 155 since he debuted - legend

Not quite, he only played 8 out of 24 in his first year (2006). 21, 21, 20, 22, 22, 21 since then though, and of course has played all 14 so far this year.

Jones' WTL record is 37-3-109. Against Brisbane he clocked up his 100th loss. I'll stop posting utterly depressing stats now.

Ah, right. In that case after this round I get 150/156 (8+22+22+22+22+22+22+23+15) but anyway, it's a great achievement.
