We've beaten out Brisbane. WCE aren't as attractive as us due to tyranny of distance, and the mining boom. In those immortal words;

'RELAX, WE'VE GOT THIS'.

Roos seems to have talked and thought at length about the challenges, history and potential at Melbourne, and how significant it would be to succeed at the MFC. He'll even get huge coin at Melbourne, and the advantage of being in Melbourne over Perth (not trying to insult our WA brethren on here). I can't think of any reason he'd go to Perth at the last minute, it's only because we've been locked in the football dungeon for so long that we'd even contemplate such an absurd scenario.

Wasn't he supposed to be signed by today according to a few people? Just about when to have a presser?

Yes. correct! By the wasy if we edit out all the rubbish not pertaining to Roos in this tread we may only have 20 pages!!

What does the Worsfold situation do to the chances of Neil Craig sticking around next year? I can't imagine that a person of his calibre leaving would be beneficial.

I thought we agreed that anyone that posted those words were to be immediately banned.

About a month ago I called it that Woosha to Brisbane could happen, could well be on the cards. Re: Roos this could be one of the longest waits for Dees fans.

GNF, Is there any chance of WCE hi-jacking this deal?

Weren't the West Aust media buzzing a few months ago when Paul Roos bought a house in Perth.

We can always kill some time and visit Bhutan for the weekend..

Roos is of high integrity, can't see him backstabbing us now, he knows he has got all of our hopes up now.

The rumour that Roos had bought a house in "Wembley Park"?

Wembley Park doesn't exist.

i'll say it again, club staff have not met with/been informed that paul roos is coaching mfc in 2014

No one has said Roos has met with staff only you have been saying it. Basically they have been told that its a done deal.

Leadership group and directors have with Roos.

And Roos is no chance whatsoever to go to WC

I wonder if this will have an effect of the timing of the Roos presser given PJ will realise MFC supporters will have lost the plot?

i feel sick

What time does the Bluey start, we need some confirmation to filter through arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Dont worry HH Roos is ours.

I know its hard because it hasnt been official but its basically a done deal.

Sumich, Burns or Voss to WC, wouldn't be Roos. If his family wouldn't move to Brisbane, they won't be moving to Perth. Also, if WC were seriously into Roos as a possibility, they would have been onto it already, at least at Board level.

Could free up Burns as an assistant, can't see him staying there if he's passed up.

West Coast's list doesn't look in as good a shape now - as it did a couple years ago.

Kerr and Cox have a year left in them, Glass is on his way out.

Next year, West Coast will have to fast track their developing rucks for when Cox departs.

Nick Nat is fairly injury prone.

If rumors are true that Shuey is leaving, then they'd want to hope like hell that Gaff doesn't follow him.

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie
