Which having Dawes at FF would help us do, due to how his inclusion in the team would affect the position of other players... your point?

My point is that...well...I'm unsure as to how having an extra target would improve delivery. I am certain it would enhance our capacity to score goals when the ball eventually goes there -- two tall targets is something most teams dream of -- but I am unsure how you're going to address the issue of our midfield's inability to mark zones in the middle of the ground and rebound off the defensive 50 fast enough for damaging delivery.

In every game this year (and most of Neeld's coaching career) our forwards are dragged up the ground because our midfield is unintentionally flooding the defensive 50 -- they are dragged in because the ball goes in there so frequently.

When you're flooding unintentionally, you have no purpose, no position, which is why the opposition looks continuously free and spaced out in comparison to our midfielders.

Do you watch our games or just snap at people you disagree with? Maybe I'm going crazy?

All I can say is you must have missed the first half last week, or the 4 games we won last year, which bit of the team is a work in progress don't you get, hopefully this week we will what you, and the rest of us by the way, want to see for 4 quarters.....and we come away with a good win.

The other one I watched really closely was Kent, still don't know why he hasn't played, every time I see him he just looks a ready made AFL footballer.

Likes it tough and looks to be hard at the ball with good disposal, just what we are screaming out for, maybe this week.

I can't wait for this guy to play. From the looks of him he could be an absolute steal at pick 40 odd!

If he played like that there'd be no complaints. Seeing him more aggressive towards his teammates at training than he is on game day against the opposition just makes his "weaknesses" even more aggrevating.

It was probably accidental, although posters on here cry for them to be tougher, assume training was at high intensity, it was also wet, so maybe one or other slipped.....jesus some of the posts on this board really begin to remind me of the Twilight Zone

The comments from Casey games seem to suggest that Kent is being left out because his defensive game needs work. I would hope that given how badly we've played the first three rounds this would not be enough to keep such a promising player out of the side. Surely it's time to have a look and see how he goes?

Is that so. It's not as if his apparent shortcomings are gonna make him Robinson Crusoe is it. Sounds a bit feeble to me.

And, last time I looked he didn't have a beard.

How did Dunn cut Blease's head? We already know that Dunn hit Bail when Bail was wearing a vest telling players to go easy on him. We know Dunn is fond of rabbit punching on field but failing to go when it is his turn. Now Blease is cut?

More detail is required, but I reckon there is enough there is suggest that Dunn could leave now and we'd lose nothing.

From what I saw, Blease was running about 10 feet away from Dunn, and the tip of Dunn's nose cut Blease's head open.

Maybe Mitch will be more comfortable leading up the ground and will mark our kick-ins at halfback. At least we'll consistently get the ball past the wing. That's some improvement, surely...
