When Mitch Clark went down it took forever for the medical team to get over to Mitch. This was pathetic. Everyone is bashing the players. The medical staff seemed asleep when Mitch put his hand up for help.

Did anyone see three guys run to the bench then get told to run back on?

What is going on with the whole coaching staff?

The team is confused, and plays that way.

When Mitch was on the ground in agony holding his foot, I felt physically ill.. Honestly I hadnt felt thaty bad since the Ox did his knee for the 3rd time. I was positive he had broken his foot or torn the Lisfracn again.

Im still a bit scared that he will have scans tomorrow and something bad might be there.

There was a lot to make you feel sick today, but Clark going down was seriously the moment I wanted to just give it all up, walk out and never come back.

Great to see him come back on, but he could hardly walk and I'm sick of so few trying so hard and killing themselves in the process. Bring Dawes in, underdone or otherwise, we have to help this poor man before he does irreparable damage, because god knows he's trying.

Absolutely the same feeling. Last year he was able to walk off the ground and Neeld said he should be alright in 2 weeks, then the scans came. It was indicative of the day that when he went for a marking contest after coming back on there was a collective breath skipped in the MCG. Why they bothered to bring him back on is beyond me.

EDIT: Wanted to add, when he went down I said to my folks who i was with, "if he gets taken off on a stretcher I'm going home". Kinda wish he'd stayed down so I had an excuse.

it wouldnt have happened if bloody pederson kicked it correctly to clark and hit him up, he had his oppenent left for dead and anything that was remotely near him he would have marked and kicked the goal

Yes I seen it, It was a laughing stock ,No idea what they were doing, I also even saw Mckenzie step onto the ground then the trainer quickly grab him back to the bench, dont know how the AFL offical missed it

Did you also notice that he hobbled half way with only one trainer helping. Finally a second arrived to assist with the rest of the distance. I hate the filth but their support structures would never allow such a situation to arise.

i loved it when the trainers went to help him off when he first got up and he just pushed them away, but needed the help when he closer to the interchange

also i nearly jumped onto the field and took on the port cheer squad when they cheered when mitch held his hand up for help....SA scum

Na no facts. just simply stating it as after his ankle problems they we be so careful. Blease had the same sort of issue and he missed over a month.

Clark wont play for the next month.

Is that an official word out of the club or your prediction/pessimism.

We have been ultra conservative with injuries over the last how ever many years wouldn't see that changingnbut good god can't wait to see Dawes and big Mitch in the one side.

They started cheering when he got on his feet, not when he injured himself. I was sitting very close to the PA cheersquad.

and they jeered when he went down

It's the medical staffs problem we lost is it?

Really come on they got out there pretty quick. They were probably attending to other players on the sidelines. He wasn't in any imminent threat of dying.

Credit to big Mitch for getting up and going back out there. Shows his commitment to the cause.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
