I reckon theyve just about run out of stones by now !!

..... yeah ..... but they've just gone back and turned the same stones over again ..... I thought Anderson said in his presser only last week that they were still turning over evidence?

Well, they may as well announce it on New Year's Eve, because once the new year is in and the 'journo's' and the wannabe's get back to their desks the re-hashing will most likely resume, and I wonder if the AFL will ever be comfortable with it's choosing.

New Year's day would be the go ..... nobody even tries to follow the news that day

You are giving me a small glow IWS.

Please be correct.

Beware of lawyers bearing gifts

(.... but yes you have put the possibility of a happy new year back into the melting pot)

I think they have had to re-evaluate some of their original evidence derived from their start-stop tape and questionable duress.

I really would have loved to see the fink tear through that original evidence in a court.

He can still have a go at it, but not the same effect :(

We dare not win a flag within the next five or so years. Surely if we do, the tanking allegations will flare up once more.

By the time we win one I doubt there will be many remnants left from our extended stay at the bottom. In any case I wouldn't worry. It would be less tainted than Essendon & Carlton's salary cap busting flags of the 90's. West Coasts drug induced achievements, Brisbane's merger concessions trifecta, or either of Collingwood or Hawthorn's flags that were the benefit of creative man management.

If I may offer an idea, I believe the actual inquisition , well the inquiry aspect is over.

I think its now moved to consolidation and the residual reporting to the powers that be.

From there deliberation will commence where upon a decision will be made as to which drawer it will sit it for , oooh at least a month id say before quietly announcing the findings during reruns of Macgyver or Knightrider in early Feb .

That or it will just sit in that drawer in the hope no one actually remembers it !!!!

Perhaps someone should remind them that Wilson won't let people forget it!

I met a guy today who happened to be the goal umpire that saw Jordie McMAHON KICK HIS FIRT CRUNCH GOAL EVER AFTER 200 GAMES.

He seemed a very decent chap and he mentioned that he noticed a definite drop off in intensity in the match .(FROM OUR GUYS)

I told him that we had two injured in that match and also that we didn't really play our best team because it was only Richmond,

He saw the ball sail over his hat but still thinks there is no way to prove we tanked.

He thinks we tanked but he has no idea if we did or not .

The AFL has no proof that can convict us ,in his opinion.

Edit:Sorry for yelling .

Yeah but I met the goal umpire!!!

Who saw the goal!!!!

C'mon OD

That is significant.

Thanks Biffo but i am worried. Due mainly, but not entirely, to she who both has one and is one, this issue has become bigger than Texas ( or possibly even bigger than her one). I 'm concerned that the issue has become so big and with so many assuming our guilt, that Dumetriou may feel compelled to do something. It worries me that we could be the outlet for the AFL being seen to do something.

Yes you are correct.

I just meant the Drop in intensity.

And as you say you did meet him and I did not mate.

You know my feelings about that game is I will not labour it.

I share your concern but if they don't have proof IMO it will end in court.

I sense the MFC will fight this till the bitter end and I think the AFL know that.

Big offer from the Vixens .

No room to move higher than Vlads armpit.

At least the Vixens is a chance to meet girls at work without seeming like a loser pervert.

Nothing more to it than that .

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
