Mate it's hard for him to watch the game and post scores without answering these sorts of questions. Wait until half-time, or the end of the match.

Pull your head in mate. My question is as valid as any other, not sure why you singled out my post and not the numerous ones requesting the names of goal kickers, the names of who are guarenteed to be posted on a multitude of websites where lesser named players specific starting positions/roles may not.

I thank kc for his updates and he is free to answer or not at HIS leisure

I am sure KC can walk and chew gum at the same time....he always does a sterling job and will answer what he can, when he can, without BH help.

Thanks KC

Looking forward to your incisive and insightful review as always.

To answer the main question which seems to be about Jack Viney, he is going to be a quality AFL footballer. He got plenty of the football in a winning midfield dominated by Beamer, Dave Collins, Gysberts and Bate when he went in there. And young Jack was not overshadowed at the coal face by any of these players including some of the seasoned Collingwood midfielders.

And you can tell 2ndhand from a stats sheet without seeing the game. Wow

so you know how all the other young prospects around the country went this weekend?

Sorry, but making these statements in isolation from one game doesn't mean a lot.

It looks like a solid game don't get me wrong, and he's a quality player, but lets wait a little to see the pecking order of the players that will be seen in the 2012 draft.

Hanson from the Roos looked like a spud for a number of years but is just starting to come good now...could this happen with Cook?

Hawkins took a long time too and he had the body for it from day one, also had the Geelong midfield kicking it to him as well. Cook has the scrappy VFL to deal with as well as the Casey midfield and windy mud soaked grounds.

PJ I think like you we all want Cook to be good however I think in the above you are trying to convince yourself that all will be well with some not so accurate facts.

Yes Hawkins has taken a long time and yes he is in a good team.

But Hawkins was good enough to get games at AFL level in his first year, from memory he kick 4 goals against us in his first couple of games.

Williams has come into the Casey side this year had a month of,f in a coma for 5 days and has managed to put in some good performances in spite of what you describe as "scrappy VFL to deal with as well as the Casey midfield and windy mud soaked grounds".

I would add that Casey is at the top of the competition and their midfield players are as good as any in the VFL.

Williams and Fitzpatrick have managed to look good with supply from the same team but Cook looks very ordinary.

As I said we all want cook to be good but after two years it is not looking great.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
