I can't remember the last time I watched a game of football and changed my mind as to who I would prefer to win.

Carlton hit the lead and I cringe.

Then Richmond get the lead back and I can't wait for Carlton to get back in front.

What would be the equivalent of a double knock-out in Aussie rules?

I definitely would prefer Richmond to win. They're irrelevant as a club, despite what they think. Carlton are smarmy, rich, cheating *somethings* who deserve every bit of pain and embarrassment they get.

For all Richmond's talk about having a great year, making the finals this year etc etc, they have only won 5 more games than us this season.

I find this funny.

edit- I would prefer for them to beat that peice of [censored] club that is Carlton though

It did make me laugh until I realised that 5 more wins meant they have won 3.5 times as many games than us. :(

We suck. They don't.

It is a very competetive season, so there is not much between 6th and 12th, but light years between 6th and 16th.

He had a shocking day though. Gave away a lot of frees and looked slow. One lucky kick can't undo the rest.

And, boy, was it ever a lucky kick! He wasn't even aiming for the goals! He was trying to get it to a team-mate closer to the goals!

Best bet would be for Carlton to win but they then get done for cheating again. This way they all lose.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.
