After reading the recent 3 most annoying players from other clubs. Just wondering who our favorite players are from the others.

Mine would be:

1. Joel Selwood. Just an absolute star.

2. Lenny Hayes. Inspirational. I think everyone loves Lenny.

3. Jack Reiwoldt. Just exiting and fun to watch

Can't believe the love for Selwood. Sure he's good but doesn't the ducking the head crap just kill you? It's within the rules, but I can't see it been within the pure spirit of the game.

I respect Judd and he's an amazing footballer to watch at times, but his face is a killer.

1. Bartel - marks, goals, wins contested ball, sensational to watch and a personal favourite.

2. Hayes - his first grand final last year I think is just amazing. Should be shown to all our blokes who aren't putting in (cough Davey cough).

3. J. Riewoldt - Buddy is good, but Riewoldt takes it up a notch.

Apologies to Nat Fyfe, Stephen Hill, Buddy, Brown, Ablett, Dangerfield, Dusty Martin and Cotchin. Lewis Jetta's run of points last year was also pure gold entertainment wise.

Salopek? Are you related to him, or just love an excuse to watch the SANFL?

1. Gary Ablett - IMO best midfielder in the comp, just a joy to watch.

2. Adam Goodes - The most mobile big man I've ever seen. Can play anywhere on the ground and kill it.

3. Jono Brown - The definition of brute strength.

1 Jake "The Push up" King - ive loved him from day one, goes in hard and you cant question his passion.( exactly what we need in our players)

2 Luke Hodge - Love his courage and determination, hard to find faults in his game.

3 Joel Selwood - Again love his toughness and courage.

Bad call on the guy who said Selwood is not in the spirit of the game, typifies the toughness of our game. Not his fault that he goes in the hardest and the others who come second give away frees. Amazing player, watch the game against Collingwood.

I thought that this would come up. Am also suprised by the amount of love he is getting here. I though that most feel the same as you TM.

Personally, I dont think he intentially plays to get the high tackle. I think it is just his natural reaction to attempt to shrug off a tackle, and it turns out that that action pushes the tacklers arm up toward his head. Either way, he gets it first.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
